Home is behind, the world ahead, |
There was some turbulence before we got to the airport but it wasn't too bad.
Saw the storm approaching while I was waiting for the shuttle bus and getting the car.
It was mostly dry on the way home....just one brief downpour. Got in the door before it started raining here so I just beat it in!
Reminder.....don't order alcohol on the short flight!
Glad you made it home safely; we have had sooo much rain this week. I woke up completely clogged about 3:00 this morning, Annie must have been sleeping on my face. I took an antihistimine and surfed a little bit; noticed we got 1.54 inches between midnight and 3 a.m but we slept right though it!
You got Miss Cat sprung yet? How's she doing?
She's sprung!
Right now she's sitting beside me and swishing her tail I told her that's the last of the long trips for now.
Super!! A swishing tail is always good. Miss Annie had to get her shots earlier this week, and they really knock her for a loop. She's doing a lot better today, thank goodness, otherwise, I was taking her back to the vet's!!
I've been brushing a lot of fur off of her. She's stretched out on the floor now.
It looks like a laundry/Flylady day.
OB took the eeeevil SUV in for a oil change; I got most of my chores done yesterday and am now surfing, balencing the checkbook and getting ready to pay a couple of bills.
Have been playing telephone tag with the cataract scheduler for almost two weeks, and am really getting tired of the game.
Eww....telephone tag sucks. I need to quit telephone tagging about Miss Cat's iodine treatment.
See!! You've got at least TWO advantages over any of the other candidates, so BE CONFIDENT!!
And now I've got the pictures to prove it! ;o)
Cool pics! Nice drive.
Morning Hair - nice pics of Mt. Ranier; beautiful place. Was there many moons ago, September of '68. Three of us from Forestry School had jobs on fire crews in Oregon. We met up and decided to take a mini-vacation on the way back to Missouri. Got as far north as Kamloops then headed to Banff, down through Glacier. Not a direct route to be sure, but a scenic one.
I bet it hasn't changed too much since you were here!
That UW Forestry school place was neat. I'd love to go to school in that setting. I think we'll go back sometime, and ride the trails up there.
when?
That is quite a setting for the school, our summer camp session was in Ozarks, hot, humid, ticks, copperheads; sniff, good times. :-)
Say 8 eastern? You're central, right? So seven for you, six for me, 5 for any west coasters.
Not too many replies so if that doesn't work for you we can probably move it.
Houston, we have DSL! :-D
Took the better part of a couple of days, but I'm up and running on a wireless DSL connection.
I only get a 63% signal here in my room, but it's still light speed compared to dial-up. I'm considering moving the PC to the living room, but for now it's great.
I promised Becky she could play online if she behaved while my sister set everything up, so I gotta let her on for a bit now.
Hair - those pics just make me want to jump on a plane tonight and enjoy a Sunday in Washington! *grin*
Jen - I don't own a copy of Princess Bride, so I can't join the chat-view other than just for company.
Be back in a few!
I would have to go buy a copy. Gave mine to my brother a while back. Been meaning to replace it anyway. Later would work better for me if we have not east coasters
