Why Can't You Eat Just One Potato Chip?
See Body of Thread | April 1, 2005 | Torie

Torie graciously is letting me use his computer. I want to know why you can't eat just one potato chip, or as Dan Quayle once asked, is it "potatoe?"

I am an expert in .NET architecture, not internet security.

I've got it in hand, just takes time to run all the software. I got caught with my firewall down, accidently clicked a popup, and Bob's your uncle, etc.

Besides, Laz hates me. :)

Oh, you need to branch out. I have a sick computer that retired to the bedroom I never use. It has that worm virus. Did that Kraut teenager get the death penalty who did it? Probably not. It would be cruel and unusual.

Well Laz hated me too (well what is a little hyperbole among friends?), that then I turned on that Torie charm (I have retrieved my computer from The Other Harry btw finally), and the fields were Elysian once again. My motto is to say whatever I want, and be "loved" by all and sundry no matter what. That is why I am still here. Diplomacy is king :)

For irony sake, I am in the middle of Kevin Mitnick's new book, great read!

Obviously, if they intended you to eat only one, they would be individually wrapped...

So, inside the four ounce bag, you'd have dozens of tiny bags, each containing one chip. It sure would help for weight control.

Thanks for the info. Glutamate/glutamic acid is also present in a number of "Sports Nutrition" supplement/performance enhancement products.

Ah no. You are on the right track, but wrong. It's for the same reason you can never have just one martini. :(Well, I cant). Because there are undiscovered substances that race to your brain, (of course for some people, this theory falls down!), and flick the "Say no" switch to off. Then you just keep eating.

Heh... potato chip singles.

I could go for some pudding skin singles like George Castansa made.
