The Pentagon Is Losing Iraq (Vanity)

Posted on 06/16/2005 7:26:20 PM PDT by faithincowboys

If Drudge is right that the Pentagon is planning to dump more abuse photos from Abu Ghraib, there is no use --we should just surrender.

If I had a loved one in harm's way, I'd tell them to desert. We can't win a war this way. Our media and governmanetal elites simply won't let us win this war.

Bush is too weak and the Republicans in Congress are intimidated by the big Beltway Media. The grunt and the Average patriotic American doesn't have anybody fighting for them.

There is no mass movement to defend the honor of the American military and there is no internal movement within the Pentagon or this Administration to say "Enough, we ain't giving the Rats in the media anymore sh*t to weaken us and boost the our enemies. We got a post-modern, post-nam Military brass-- not a pair of balls on any of them. There simply is no push back. The Schumers, the Durbins, the Moores and the MSM are more committed than the Right is.

I understand why recruitment is down-- the damn Generals don't defend the grunts. They keep giving more and more ammo to the Islamisofascists and the Enemies within. Tell me where I'm wrong.

You are not doing fish... you are a Predator Bird Sanctuary!

We are now!

The gray fox ate all the ground animals and the hawks and owls ate everything else. We have run desperately short of songbirds despite all the shrubs around the feeders. There's one hawk that hunts from the trees and another that hunts from the ground. It's gotten more dangerous in the burbs than it is in Southie! It's a zoo!

MOSTLY because Sandy was talking about her pond-project.

And then we got onto hummingbirds, and I thought of you!

LOL! Yes, my pond issues have led to hijacking of this thread.

But then, it really needed to be hijacked. It was somewhat pointless as written.

Yes, I took the pic and had to run it through Paint Shop Pro just to see the bird. Whatever it is, its camo is the best!

Apparently it's not good enough for anyone to be able to positively ID, however, not yet, anyway.

Oh hey.
This is me, being happy over where the thread went.

I would MUCH rather talk about birds of prey and fish and filters and pumps.
