If Drudge is right that the Pentagon is planning to dump more abuse photos from Abu Ghraib, there is no use --we should just surrender.

If I had a loved one in harm's way, I'd tell them to desert. We can't win a war this way. Our media and governmanetal elites simply won't let us win this war.

Bush is too weak and the Republicans in Congress are intimidated by the big Beltway Media. The grunt and the Average patriotic American doesn't have anybody fighting for them.

There is no mass movement to defend the honor of the American military and there is no internal movement within the Pentagon or this Administration to say "Enough, we ain't giving the Rats in the media anymore sh*t to weaken us and boost the our enemies. We got a post-modern, post-nam Military brass-- not a pair of balls on any of them. There simply is no push back. The Schumers, the Durbins, the Moores and the MSM are more committed than the Right is.

I understand why recruitment is down-- the damn Generals don't defend the grunts. They keep giving more and more ammo to the Islamisofascists and the Enemies within. Tell me where I'm wrong.

So you're position is that since you were there you have a superior understanding of the facts on the ground. Likewise, since I am here in America, while you're making Sloppy Joes in the Phillipines, I have a superior sense of the facts on the ground and the national mood. And, sadly, they aren't trending our way, Sport.

First, let me say that I personally think this administration has done a very poor job of being on the offense in every situation since the election, whether it's Abu Graib, G.Bay, social security, Bolton, judges, or tax reform. They seem to be constantly defending themselves against whatever crazy b.s. the left can throw at them, and they have not done an effective job, IMHO.

Seems to me, if some stupid court says they have to release more photos, fine.

But I say for every one photo they have to release of some murderer standing on a box (the horror!!), they should release a thousand of electricity being repaired, of children playing at their new schools, of water lines being laid, of hospitals functioning, of colleges graduating students, of women voting, of marriage celebrations, and of everything else we are not allowed to see due to our ridiculously biased news agencies. Let our government release the good news, everywhere, to every paper, magazine and tv station.

Yes, the powers that be in the media are against us, and have been, for decades. It is up to us to get the good news out there, to talk to everyone we can about the positives. Our military is the greatest in the world, and no one has deserted them except the looney left..

I think perhaps you should retract the "my relatives should desert" bit.

You have to understand that Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Myers, every general and every man in power on our side has far more information than we do. We have no idea what goes on behind closed doors. Have a little faith in the people we elected, man.

Trust that these guys know far more than we do about how to run a war. Our side does not need chicken littles freaking out over the sky when we have men and women in harm's way. I understand if you have doubts. But you have to chill out and have faith. Otherwise, you might as well be a demon rat.
