Lock Ban Delete.
Free Speech the Progressive way!
lol
I didn't even make the cut. goodboy didn't even mention me.
I guess I'm a nobody freeper. :(
I'm just going to go to my corner and pout.

But I think goodlittleboy has it in for me because I called him a whiney foul-mouthed little brat, or something like that. And of course, I did post his picture:
Did you ever get him to autograph it for you?
Still the funniest post ever Mr. Henrickson. There has been lots of terrific freeper humor in these threads, but that one post took me over the edge.
Love how there can be receipts for all donations but no accounting of donations.
Don't you love how they have made this about donors having to prove they donated, having to offer up their names and phone numbers, etc? They even asked one guy on the Malloy board to post his grandfather's PC diagnosis sheet, which the guy did, then they dogpiled on him even more and disregarded it.
Asking strangers for that stuff does absolutely nothing to clear up the questions with the fundraiser. It just makes the Goonie Brigade look worse, as if that's possible, lol!
The goodboy/benburch tag team claim that no one is entitled to ask any questions, though they will deign to offer information privately to people who identify themselves completely and prove they donated.
One of them made an analogy to giving a quarter to a bum on the street and how doing that does not give one the right to inquire what the bum intends to do with the money.
A very apt analogy, and more revealing than they intended.
They also claimed that this was not an "organized charity" so they did not need to follow any of the laws of Washington. Which is clearly not the case, as anonymousarmy has posted the law that any endeavour to raise funds, especially over $25k, must register with the state. Even those exempt from the law are encouraged to file a formal exemption.

A suggestion, if you don't mind. A link to each new update from the previous one would help direct traffic to the new thread.

Now they are saying it's a right wing hit job to keep Andy out of politics!! Their dishonesty and stupidity is amazing. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes.
The funny thing is they don't get to decide what they call themselves. The law does that for them.
Legal definition of a "charitable organization" for Washington State:
RCW 19.09.020
Definitions.
(2) "Charitable organization" means any entity that solicits or collects contributions from the general public where the contribution is or is purported to be used to support a charitable activity, but does not include any commercial fund raiser or commercial fund-raising entity as defined in this section. "Charitable" (a) is not limited to its common law meaning unless the context clearly requires a narrower meaning; (b) does not include religious or political activities; and (c) includes, but is not limited to, educational, recreational, social, patriotic, legal defense, benevolent, and health causes.

Thanks for the ping Dave!
Now, my best friend worked for a non-profit. She says that all financial endeavors--meaning ALL--should have been reported to the IRS, as federal law stands on charitable entities. I'm assuming that this has in fact happened. Has it, does anyone know?
I'll fill you in on all the details as soon as you tell me your complete name, address, social security number, mother's maiden name, Visa card number and expiration date. ;-)

"Shortly after the election, Stephenson got word that his sister had died. He headed back to Texas for her wake and burial. Meanwhile, Harris was engaged in a battle for prime time news coverage. To many participants in the election investigations, it seemed that the fraud involved in the Presidential election should be loudly trumpeted by the media. However, this was not the case. Rumor was wild on the Internet that the press had been "locked-down" on this issue. Since less than fifty days earlier, the White House had helped to exile veteran reporter Mary Mapes and her boss, Dan Rather, from CBS news, the mainstream media was only too eager to fall in line with whatever the President wanted and the truth be damned.
The only small glimmer of hope was Keith Olbermann of MSNBC News, who had a news program on Cable TV. He alluded to voter fraud on more than one show. He put out feelers that he would be open to hearing from Harris. Olbermann's people called Stephenson about the need to reach Harris. There was a mix-up in Stephenson contacting Harris. And somehow or another, Harris and Olbermann came to blows. The incredible fallout for all of this was the following posting, on the extremely popular Black Box Voting website:"
"December 14th, 2004-- The six-member Board of Directors of Black Box Voting has unanimously voted to terminate the employment of Associate Director Andy Stephenson, for:
- Repeatedly lying to various members of the board of directors
- Misrepresenting results of investigations
- Mishandling telephone communications and withholding information
- Temper tantrums and hanging up on members of the organization
- Outburst at the Florida Supervisor of Elections meeting, offending public officials
- Failing to assist, show up, or even call while Kathleen Wynne and Bev Harris repeatedly reached him to request assistance when they were accosted by Volusia County police. Black Box Voting apologizes for these problems."
Last paragraph;
"Again, rumors and gossip raged across the Internet. Not knowing what to make of the scenario, Democratic Underground finally shut off all discussion relating to it. However, this reporter decided that the one lead that could establish StephensonÕs innocence was the owner of the Baltimore Orioles, Peter Angelos. Angelos is the attorney famous for the legal showdown over asbestos. Among the facts that Stephenson claimed about his illness was this interesting tidbit: Angelos had helped contact the heads of Johns Hopkins and convinced them to make the operation possible for Stephenson.
On Tuesday, May 19th, I called Mr. Angelos. His secretary said that if the call was related to Stephenson, then Angelos had asked that I be put right through. After a short introduction, I explained my predicament. I needed to ask: "Was it true that Angelos had offered help in the matter of the Johns Hopkins operation?"
There is no answer, I wonder why.

That is so weird. It's like the story just stops. Like watching the last five minutes of a TV show and then they break in with news that Castro died.
You're happy to hear it, of course, but couldn't they have waited five minutes?
Maybe someone should alert Pitt and he can get Conyers to hold a march where he can nail something to the door of the Coastal Post Online.
It can't reflect well on "journalists" to end the story before the punchline.
Maybe it's a cliff hanger in on July 1, she'll post the rest of the story.
It will be interesting to see how Ben Burch and Goodboy respond.
I read the Coastal Post article awhile back and wondered why it ended there. Maybe she got Angelos on the phone and he said "Damn that Andy! I'm gonna kick his @ss after I kick flyarm's @ss, those @#$%^^& idiots!!!!! AHHHHHHH!
So Carol the reported decided to leave THAT part out! LOL
