The goodboy/benburch tag team claim that no one is entitled to ask any questions, though they will deign to offer information privately to people who identify themselves completely and prove they donated.
One of them made an analogy to giving a quarter to a bum on the street and how doing that does not give one the right to inquire what the bum intends to do with the money.
A very apt analogy, and more revealing than they intended.
They also claimed that this was not an "organized charity" so they did not need to follow any of the laws of Washington. Which is clearly not the case, as anonymousarmy has posted the law that any endeavour to raise funds, especially over $25k, must register with the state. Even those exempt from the law are encouraged to file a formal exemption.

The funny thing is they don't get to decide what they call themselves. The law does that for them.

(2) "Charitable organization" means any entity that solicits or collects contributions from the general public where the contribution is or is purported to be used to support a charitable activity, but does not include any commercial fund raiser or commercial fund-raising entity as defined in this section. "Charitable" (a) is not limited to its common law meaning unless the context clearly requires a narrower meaning; (b) does not include religious or political activities; and (c) includes, but is not limited to, educational, recreational, social, patriotic, legal defense, benevolent, and health causes.
