I am sure we all have some funny stories to share on this topic!
But I'm damn good at it!
How is your relationship with your parents?
Naaa....
The original is funnier. And more truthful.
Ew! nightmare date.
I went to an all girls college for 3 1/2 years on a 2 year course while in my 30's and now 20+ years later I'm still recouperating.
And there isn't a single story I can tell online! :-)
Well, maybe the........... nah, nevermind...:-)
My Prom date was the girl I had dated for all 4 years of High School. She waited until Prom Night to break up with me....half way through the Prom. "Colour My World" still makes me nauseous.
That was my worst...and only bad date. Didn't have any bad ones after that. Guess I was lucky. Or had very low expectations. =;^)
GOOD QUOTE HERE FROM A LONG HAIR:
And the sign said, "Long-haired freaky people need not apply"
So I tucked my hair up under my hat, and I went in to ask him why
He said, "You look like a fine, upstanding young man, I think you'll do"
So I took off my hat and said, "Imagine that! Ha, me workin' for you!"
This portion of the song hits home with me as I am a little different from most folks. I tend to underdress, understate, under-promise, and yet outperform most others. Anyone pre-qualifying me would laugh at the prospects of me being successful. Yet, I am.
Do you have a sign up that says "Long haired freaky people need not apply"? Do you discourage recruiting those who are different from you or do you try to make those you recruit conform to your way of life, your ideals, your standards? Do you pre-qualify your prospects to the degree that you discourage many from joining your organization?
(grinning) Why do you ask?
Per my attorneys and the 5th Amendment to the Constitution I prefer not to answer.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it...
Beetle? Front seat, passenger side, driver's seat folded forward, passenger door open. Trust me on this one.
Hey, I have one of those at home...
Brought gal to famously good pizza place for a casual pizza and beer.Wanted vegetarian toppings and she didn't like the pizza after it was served.. Second, one of her first comments (don't even know what prompted it) she was saying how she despised people who killed deer. Even though I have never shot a deer I have many friends who are avid hunters and I recognize the need to thin the herd as I've hit two deer with my car. And I LOVE deer haamburger jerky that I make myself from my friends "take".
You were the only Male????
Anyone ever consider that maybe WE were the bad date at least once?
LOL!
Oh lord,
I had a date with a guy that I had met via a friend (never again!)....
It was pretty apparent in the first 20 minutes that we had nothing in common. I mean, nothing. Much of the conversation consisted of him ranting about his 2 ex's. (Rule #2 of Dating-- No matter WHAT men say, they have WAY more baggage than any woman.)
Anyhow, this was a Wednesday night, and all of a sudden, he says "Well, ya wanna go out Friday?" I kinda give him a "HUH" look and gently say (Yes, I can be gentle)....
"I don't think so. Don't ya think we really don't have much in common?" (like nothing).
Then he snaps "Well, why did you tell your friend you were interested in dating again if you weren't!"
The worst/funniest part is he got mad and just sat there sulking and wouldn't look up, not even to acknowledge the waitress bringing the bill. I sit there for another minute and finally take the bill up to the register, pay it and go home.
Oh, I know I was. Dozens of times.
too good looking...
8^)
