Some of our most cherished memories in life revolve around sharing a drink with loved ones and friends. A fine bottle of Cabernet with your spouse on your anniversary. A 12 year old scotch with your father. Shots of tequila with the girl you've been after for months. Etc, Etc.
There are certainly people in our history and living today, that I would give my left nu.., er little toe, to share a beer and a long-winded conversation with. The following is off the top of my head, and hundreds more could be included:
LIVING:
3. Bob Dylan - my all time favorite enigmatic musician
2. Donald Rumsfeld - A real man amongst girly men
1. Mark Steyn - perhaps the most insightful, wittiest man on the planet
DEAD
3. Ernest Hemmingway - one of the few writers of fiction I love.
2. Ronald Reagan - The hero of our times
1. Ben Franklin - My alltime favorite historical figure.
One of these days we'll all get together for a beer. And the delusions you chicks have will be painfully obvious! I SO look forward to that! ;o)
You know you love it. Why try to deny it in public?
Delusions...you're quite the comedian today, aren't you?
I'm sure we can find you a girly man for your fantasies here. But my guess is you gals prefer a more rough and tumble guy. That's why you really like me. ;o)
No girly man for me...yuck!
When we want a rough and tumble guy we call thag!! When we want a whipping boy we call you.
LOL! That was great! ;)
Sounds like you all have him pegged!!LOL
I'd love to sip my beer while listening in on the conversation between Eleanor Roosevelt and Hillary Clinton.
Wait a minute, maybe I'd best bring along a barf bag just in case!!
3. Arnold Schwarzenegger
2. Rush Limbaugh
1. Dick Cheney
Dead:
3. George S Patton
2.Teddy Roosevelt
3. Sam Houston
I have decided to add Attila the Hun, Alexander the Great and Ghandi to my list. I think the conversation would be extremely interesting.....and the pillaging afterwards a blast!
LOL! I'll bet he does. You ladies will have his butt looking like a map of the USA after we fully educate those voters in the blue states.
Maybe so, but this old dude will just drink his beer and sit back watching the action-I know my limits-and I don't mean beer.
Yep, he really does like living dangerously, but when he goes he will probably have a smile on his face, so wide that the corners of his lips meet in the middle of the nape of his neck.
LOL, you're probably right. ;)
P.A. Their "painful delusions" are quite obvious by the fact that they keep company with the likes of guys like us...
