Detroit cars back then, I confess I love them, especially the land yachts.
And I admit I love disco.
OK now for the bad, Minnie Ripperton's "Loving You" and The DeFranco Family's "Love Beat is a Heartbeat." The latter is OK in small doses but all the time would drive people nuts. If I was in charge of Gitmo, I'd be playing both songs 24/7 to all the detainees there. B-)

The song "Seasons in the Sun" is one of the scourges of the 70s.

Mr. Microphone - WTH?
Pet Rock - Sucker born every minute.

One of the really bad things:
Mr. Brady's perm on "The Brady Bunch." Yep, we knew he was gay even back then.
Oh...and Elton John's feathers and sequins phase. YECCHH!

1. Count Chocula & Frankenberry Don't forget Fruit Brute and Booberry, the other two oh-so-delicious horror-themed General Mills breakfast cereals.

The best of the '70s? The youthful-looking Pam Grier, Raquel Welsh, Farrah Fawcett, Carrie Fisher. The worst? As usual, any 'Rat politician, like Jimmah Carter, Bella Abzug, Sam Ervin, Fritz Mondull, as well as the usual media scumwads Mike Wallace, Dan Rather, Woodward and Bernstein, etc.

One of the very best things to come out of the seventies has got to be our very own
cyborg.
No doubt.
Also, the unequaled four-in-six-years championship dynasty of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
