My sister and I used to play "Josie and the Pussycats" all the time.

I was usually Josie and Melody. I made my sister be Alexandra and Sebastian

Me, too. I think they are cute. I guess I am getting old and nostalgic, cause I like a lot of the clothes from back then Sad, but true.

I still have a scar on my shoulder that I received while riding in the back seat of one of these cars...a 1973 Torino...as our neighbor, coming our way at 70 mph or more, topped the hill in our lane in a 1971 Olds 88. It was white. I still remember seeing its wheels a foot off the pavement as he crested the hill.

I don't know what drugs he was taking, but it was something. My mother, my sister, and I all survived, though my mom's arm was torn up pretty bad.

Best: 1979 Cad Eldo Biarritz (yeah, this is a 1980, but virtually identical).

Put over 200K miles on mine. It WOULD. NOT. DIE.

You were lucky...my father had a '77 Datsun B210:

Put 165k on it in 10 years before the floorboards literally rusted out ala Freddie-Flinstone.

Oh, and anything reminiscent of CB/trucker chic, including Smokey and the Bandit and C.W. McCall's entire discography.

Oh, man, that went straight to my heart! B-) They were among the best of the 1970's, I got my start in radio (I'm a ham radio operator) by getting on the CB back then, I still have the radios, they get "all" 23 channels (before they went to 40) and "Smokey" is one of my favorite films. Talking on the CB gave me my handle that I use here, "Nowhere Man."

also, we can't forget the TV show "Ark II" where in a devistated future, travelling scientists all wore uni-sex jumpsuits.

Can't forget the Krofft shows either, here is asnapshot from "Far Out Space Nuts"

And who could forget the Filmation live action shows like "Shazam?"
