How does this present administration view dead beat dads? I have received no child support for 26 months, my ex husbnd is a Greek Orthodox Priest who holds a valid Marriage Counselor Licence and Mental Health Therapist.

Some people here believe that fathers should be able to have the right to walk away from their children without recourse. I've even read comments that suggested fathers shoule be able to kill their children to avoid support (like women can choose to have abortions).

Most of the guys pushing for that kind of legislation don't require the death of the child. They want the same option to relieve themselves of all responsibilty that women have with abortion.

If I was Sarah I sure wouldn't answer. I've never seen such vitrol against a woman who is obviously in a bad situation. The posters know nothing about her expect what she posted above. And since she knows nothing about the posters either, they are free to abuse her.

I agree. This woman sent me a freepmail after my initial response, and from what I could tell she is in a very difficult situation. But we're so quick to jump into zot mode that she got taken out. Gee, I can't imagine why someone wouldn't want to respond after the amount of invectitude that was hurled at her.

Zer are veys und zer are no porcelain fixturez involved in zee investigation process. At 19, I was *not* looking for anything to do with caring for children. LOL Any guy who makes a snide remark when he see another guy change his child's diaper is *not* parenting material.

Sorry, doesn't sound like someone who's looking for immediate help to me. If she wanted that she's have asked a lawyer or a friend. And why the private mail ? Why not just answer the questions if she really wanted help ? These are not rationalizations, they're honest questions.

Uh, if the allegation is true and the guy does owe child support, then, yes, it IS his fault, as the matter has been adjucated in a court of law and he is flaunting that finding.

Then anyone who has a child support order should ask their lawyer what to do to have it enforced. It's really quite simple, and not at all unusual.

Where is FR's "no personal attacks" policy when it's needed? Did they mean to say if you are personally attacked then YOU will be the person suspended? Then the attackers can just move on to another thread for more fun and frivolity.
