I agree. This woman sent me a freepmail after my initial response, and from what I could tell she is in a very difficult situation. But we're so quick to jump into zot mode that she got taken out. Gee, I can't imagine why someone wouldn't want to respond after the amount of invectitude that was hurled at her.

Do you really think it would help ANYTHING if we were to be ashamed? Does that EVER help? Excuse us for not blindly jumping onto the "blame the ex it's all his fault gimme sympathy" bandwagon. As usual, there is more than one side to every dispute.

Where is FR's "no personal attacks" policy when it's needed? Did they mean to say if you are personally attacked then YOU will be the person suspended? Then the attackers can just move on to another thread for more fun and frivolity.

If she's so interested in getting help in a seemingly difficult situation, why would she post on FR but not respond? We were only asking clarifying questions- which she refused to answer. How hard is it to stay on your own thread and help explain your situation to a group of people who really would help?
