The first time I looked haiku up in a dictionary, The closest to it was haik which means tramp in Norwegian.
So I took it to mean tramp you or you tramp.

I was taught about these in the 4th grade. I still remember the one that I wrote way back then. I've always loved poetry although I'm not very good at writing it, lol.
Softly the wind sings
Listen to the leaves talking
