It opens with a perfectly choreographed dolphin musical number, and ends with the disembodied head of deceased author Douglas Adams. This is the long awaited adaptation of his novel, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and as the dolphins flawlessly perform their rendition of So Long and Thanks for All the Fish youll realize youre in for one hell of a ride. Dont panic. It only gets a little weirder.

get it off the net. don't let him have any of your money. you could probably find Fahrenheit 911 and FahrenHYPE 911 both online to download.
Must be unfamiliar territory for most screenwriters. They've heard about it, but...
he DOES have two heads. One of them busts out from his chest.
That would be life, the universe and everything.
"My towel has a special picante sauce and chips flavor."
Sounds delicious. You should try it with a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.
If you don't have any of that Old Janx Spirit (or have adverse reactions to Benzene in large concentrations, you can try the Terran version. To explain, the original recipe is:
Take the juice from one bottle of that Ol' Janx Spirit.
Pour into it one measure of water from the seas of Santraginus V.
Allow three cubes of Arcturan Mega-gin to melt into the mixture (it must be properly iced or the benzine is lost).
Allow four litres of Fallian marsh gas to bubble through it (in memory of all those happy Hikers who have died of pleasure in the Marshes of Fallia).
Over the back of a silver spoon float a measure of Qualactin Hypermint extract, redolent of all the heady odours of the dark Qualactin Zones; subtle sweet and mystic.
Drop in the tooth of an Algolian Suntiger. Watch it dissolve, spreading the fires of the Algolian Suns deep into the heart of the drink.
Sprinkle Zamphour.
Douglas Adams actually made the following version:
Strong white rum, kept in the freezer.
Cheap, fizzy, cider (or 7-UP)
Cubes of strong gin, previously made in the freezer ice tray.
Some form of mint liqueur for flavour, aroma and colour.
Lemon oil - not too much. (or several lemon twists)
A dash of green Tabasco.
A sprinkle of cinnamon.
An olive, to serve.
I have had one; it is quite good.
Mostly harmless.
OMG ROTFLOL!!!
Interesting. Even before I saw the BBC series on TV, not exactly how I pictured it. Don't think Adams did either in the book did he?
Mostly harmless ping.
You are truly one hoopy frood.
Think I'll wear my bathrobe..
Alan Rickman was an excellent pick for the voice of Marvin the Robot. The only other person I could imagine for the part is Ben Stein.
Kenny Bunkeport's description-more of a cigarette lighter or a pez dispenser would be more accurate. I never really could tell how Adams invisioned it from the script. I was thinking something like the way the multi-headed creature that Johnny Knoxville played in MIB2 would be it. It never said bot heads were active at all times, did it?
Most of the bad reviews at rottentomatoes.com are by the clueless. The fans are giving it good to excellent. as one of them says, all I ask for is good.
I'm waiting for the "Blake's 7" movie.
