Not here for long. Gotta to to an employee recognition event. Almost didn't come in at all since the location is closer to home. But I figured I could get an hour in.

Planning to be there. I am moving into my house the weekend before and I tend to play things by ear so I will not swear on anything that I will be there. But I should make it. As long as I can afford plenty of ammo... er I mean gas... yeah, gas and ammo.

hadtuh have been designed by a soldier or airman... jarhead woulduh used subdued colors...I guess that's because it has to be visible in the dim light of some bar. The color is actually a matte gold, except the SEAL insignia, which is a bright gold.

Bosses suck.
I just got the "official" Hurricane Preparedness Checklist from my manager. She's asking everyone to sign up to be on one of three teams: In-House, Emergency and Away.
In-House has to be ready to stay late as the hurricane approaches and come in as soon as it passes.
Away has to be prepared to fly to Georgia 12 hours before the hurricane makes landfall.
Emergency has to help the Away Team board up their house and check on its condition after the hurricane, speak to family members, etc.
I don't like any of these options. :P

I went with In-House because I don't want to be stuck preparing someone else's home while my home has nothing done to it.
I'm tellin' ya, this company just ain't normal.
You'd think they'd let us go early and want our safety to come first and foremost, but it's so obvious that all they care about is keeping the business operating continuously, regardless of who it affects.
