Today I did what I usually do... Well heck you guys know I'm plain obsessed with FR. I have been since I logged on two years ago, more than two years since I lurked for a month till I couldn't keep my mouth shut anymore. I've rarely gone for more than a week without posting except for one time where I had some personal problems that really needed tending to and I had myself zotted.
I am a renaissance freeper. I discuss many different issues on this forum. Some people have asked me if I was South African because I post on a lot of African threads. I'm not it's just one of my favorite interests. I've met more South Africans and relatives of South Africans and Africans in general on FR than in real life.
I also happen to post on a lot of American black issues because I live in an area that is predominantly black, have gone to school with black people and feel that I have a lot to say as a result of those experiences. I listed myself on Mike's 'black conservative' ping list because I thought he sent the best crop of articles to discuss. Yes I am very outspoken on issuees. I've gotten debates with certain freepers about statements and issues very controversial with respect to race.
A little while back there was a thread discussing Storm Front's plan to infiltrate FR. I don't know who you are and youv'e incarnated yourself as eatmorechikin and buttsex3 BUT you will not intimate outspoken minorities off this thread. You can post more disgusting XXX porn to me but I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving till Jim Robinson tells me to leave. Got that?
So this stuff is still happening?
Do we have a Plan?

The troll was still posting his disease as of at least 9:30 this morning.
I think the boss and the mods have a handle on it as they have in all likelyhood collected quite an electronic trail on the perp by now, and there is a bad idea in place as well.
Bad idea is to find out if he is posting from a company workstation, and then let his employer know his doings.
Also, if he's posting from home, his ISP can be notified of his behavior and the intent to litigate due ot internet stalking and harrassment.
That would get his internet connection permanently revoked.
Sounds like a plan!

My son's forum is full of computer geek mods and admins. There's a way to trace back through the ISP and we've done it once there in order to file a formal complaint. Turns out our particular troll was posting from a college computer using a college's ISP provider. My son called and then wrote a formal protest letter (with a small threat of possible legal action) to the college. Somehow or another the college was able to determine which student it was and expelled him. I believe the student was on his own laptop but plugged into the college's ISP access.
Even though I'm one of the mod's on his board, I'm in no way a computer geek so I don't know all the in's and out's of how it all worked. It did take time to do and I know during the interim, they blocked that particular ISP's access to my son's board in order to stop the trolling until the college did something. On a smaller board like my son's, blocking the access was inconvenient for only a couple of other posters. It may not be possible on FR because it could be one of the bigger ISP's which would end up blocking too many legit posters.
Hopefully this particular troll will get tired and move on. Of course, we don't know what action may be going on behind the scene here at FR.
It's now entertaining to me. It's hysterical watching how desperate people get when they realize their irrelevancy.

I posted to that soccer thread before it got pulled (I called the guy an idiot/moron, or something along those lines) so I was able to go back and see who I posted to, someone named "no soccer" of all things.
