We all know what April 15th means (like it or not, and most of us dont like it). Time to the procrastinators get those tax returns in. Lets see how the cats are handling the tax return rush.

Kitty Ping List alert!
[Freepmail me to get on or off the Kitty Ping List.]
Thank you. Some situations are just too confusing for breakfast-food haberdashery.
Thanks for sharing. ;)
Hey Meek, is this guy trying to horn in on the Wendy's chili finger thing, or what? LOL
haha!Toe sammiches. It's the latest fad. :)
I have a little "good news" story to share with all of you. I travel the same route to work every day which includes a very busy 2-lane highway. This morning, just going past a church, I saw what I thought to be another dead animal in the middle of the road. As I got closer, I noticed it was a cat, and it was crouched in the very middle of the road on the stripes (lane divider lines) and appeared to alive. I found the next intersection and whipped my car around, worried that another vehicle might hit and kill the cat in the time it took for me to turn around and get there. Fortunately, that was not the case.
I went back to the cat, pulled my car over and put the 4-way flashers on, got out, scooped up the cat, got back in my car, and drove to the first house. There I was at 6:20 a.m., ringing a doorbell. As luck would have it, a lady answered the door and after learning what was going on, produced an animal carrier. A brief discussion ensued as to what to do, and we looked at kitty who had a droplet of blood on one ear, but otherwise, had no other signs of trauma, other than being shaken up. I finally said I'd take the cat along with me to work and figure out what to do once I got there. We exchanged phone numbers, and off I went. I was shook up but went to work and after a while, decided to call my husband back at home (30 minutes away) and ask him to come get kitty and take him/her to the vet for a checkup. To make a long story short, he did, the vet said kitty didn't appear to be hurt, and on my way home, I stopped in the neighborhood where I found Kitty and asked at about 20 houses if they were missing a cat. On house #19, a nice lady pointed out another house where she knew "they had cats". Well, sure enough, that was the house. The lady followed me all the way home to pick up her cat, and I am so very thankful tonight that:
#1: For once, a cat hit on the highway wasn't killed
#2: I was able to rescue it
#3: Kitty was okay (other than in shock)
#4: Kitty got to go home!
Have a good night everyone. And hug your cat(s)! I know I will.
Thanks for sharing your story. I'm really glad it turned out so well for all concerned.
I need some help with a 4 wk. old kitty.
Long story short, I now am bottle feeding a little kitty we hadn't planned on getting.
When will she be old enough to "lap" up formula?
I think at 7 weeks old. Contact a vet to be sure.
; )
She should be old enough now, to lap formula and to start eating canned foods.
I'd recommend not getting food with tuna.....too many bones that can get stuck in her tiny troat. I went through that nightmare once years ago and learned the lesson. I usually start out with baby food.....chicken or turkey.....to get kittens used to the taste of food, then go from there.
Good luck with the lil darling. Kittens can be such a joy. :-)
Can someone explain the pancake on the head joke? What is the Freeper lore on that one I wonder.
I think it started out as a way of indicating something was absurd. Now it is used for everything.
Ping.
