Terri's struggle for life has ended this morning. December 3, 1963 - March 31, 2005
Attorney David Gibbs "The Schindlers said that God loves Terri more than they do."
Father Frank Pavone, Natl. Director of Priests for Life "We will pray that it will never happen again."
National Right to Life joins with countless others worldwide in expressing sympathy to the Schindler family over the death of Terri Schiavo. Terri died of starvation and dehydration today, nearly 13 days after her feeding tube was removed under court order. The following statement may be attributed to Burke Balch, J.D., Director of the Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics at the National Right to Life Committee:
We are deeply saddened by Terris death and extend our heartfelt sympathy to the Schindler family. Terri Schiavos death is a gross injustice and it marks a sad day in our history when our society allows Terri and others like her who have severe disabilities to be discarded in such a cruel and inhumane manner.
We must redouble our efforts to protect those with disabilities. We will continue working to ensure that they are not dismissed by some quality of life standard which dictates that some lives are less worthy than others.
well said: >"May Terri's struggle for life become our own."<
"No snowflake in an avalanche ever feels responsible."
No words can express what I'm feeling.
Our society has lost it's innocence with Terri's death.
We read all the time about a person taking away another person's life, but here the government took Terri's life away as callous as any murderer.
Terri has entered into Life on the day that the Anglican communion remembers Priest and poet John Donne:
"All mankind is one volume. When one man dies, one chapter is torn out of the book and translated into a better language. And every chapter must be so translated. God employs several translators. Some pieces are translated by age, some by sickness, some by war, some by justice. But God's hand shall bind up all our scattered leaves again for that library where every book shall lie open to another."
Heavenly Father, we return to thank you for the life of this mother's child ... we grieve that she is not cradled in the arms of her mother and father, sister and brother, yet we know that she is safely cradled in the arms of Jesus. Only You, O God, could effect her rescue from those who sought her life ... she is eternally free while they are now locked in a prison of their own making.
Walk with us, Merciful Father, for the road ahead is unsure, but You know the way. Comfort Terri's beloved family and friends ... bind up their broken hearts ... sustain them with the knowledge that Terri is not gone but gone before and Joyous Reunion awaits.
In the Name of Jesus, we praise You ... Amen ...

Father God, we come to You today with grieving hearts. We don't understand Your will in this, Father, but we bow to it just the same. We praise You, Father, that Your perfect will be done in this situation. We can't see it now, Lord, but we thank and praise You just the same through our tears.
And may He comfort her family.
And may he heal our culture.
God is now taking Terri home with him, she will suffer no more. My heart goes out to her family, I know their hearts are breaking.
A piece of all of us dies today, I hope we can make changes in Terri's memory so no other family has to suffer such an unjust.
Prayers for the Schindlers,
Tammy

May hope forever wipe away your tears."

Please know that you have been in our hearts and minds for quite a while now, and on this day of your passing, you are in our souls. We have prayed for you and your family in hopes of saving you from a cruel death. Although unsuccessful in our attempt, we now pray that you are with our Lord, that you have been restored and renewed. We know that with the love and affection shown you by your family, and with the support and prayers of those who never met you, the good Lord has taken you into his embrace and made you welcome in his Kingdom. You were a faithful daughter and wife who deserves God's good graces. May your light shine down on your family and the rest of us who so sorely need the radiance of your being. We will cry and mourn your passing, but we will hold you strong in our memory, praising your life and beauty, and how your courage and fight for life affected our lives.
Terri ping!
I love you, Terri! You are a sister to me! I honor of your dedication to Our Lord's Will, I will continue to fight for our God-given right-to-life, and I will work to change this culture of death that we live in today.
God bless you, Terri, and thank you for allowing me, a stranger, to get to know you and your family, and so many other wonderful people whom I have grown close to. May your life and death be a blessing to us.
Peace be with you, Terri!
Thanks for the ping. I'm so sorry. Been praying for her and her family. I came off the fence about the time the tube was taken out. I personally don't want to hear anything from the Bushes or Mikey or anyone from the judicial branch. As a long time pubby, I here and now decare my REFUSAL to vote for another Bush (Jeb in particular) that runs for prez in '08.
Amen. I love you and your family Terri. See you in heaven.
In the meantime, I'll work alongside people like you, Ohioan, to rid the immoral death culture from our country.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
