This was an email forward.
I took the names out for privacy. I had to post, too sweet!
Copy and edited:
A lady found the fawn under her step (they think the doe might have been hit by a car)... her Ridge Back dog is helping look after it. The family named the fawn Bella. Once she has regained her strength (she was not in good shape when the family found her) they are going to send her to some friends who (in the past) raised two orphan deer and released them to the wild. Right now she is being bottle fed. Their dog (Hogan) has basically taken over. The fawn even shares his bed.
I recall seeing the outdoor picture some time ago, like a couple years, so definitely not current.
Congradulations to your husband.
If you do move, you will love the goats.
Nubians have more personality and richer milk, more cream
and so good for you.
Yes, I miss them.
Deers carry the tick which gives people LYME DISEASE,they are responsible for more car accidents than drunk teens, they destroy property, and are the cockroaches of the mammal word.
What's VERY strange about those pictures,is that fawns are born in the spring and even in the summer, but NEVER in the winter and that fawn looks to be practically a newborn.
Sorry to bring you or anyone else down, but those of us who have to live with damned deer, don't find even baby ones "cute".
Mission accomplished. ;~)
DNR is more responsible for trees and lands than wildlife.... Dept of Fish and Game or Dept Wildlife would be the ones more interested in this.
Good grief what a grump.
I live with outdoor deer.
I've lost people I've known to lime disease.
Never let life skew you.
A blasting volcanoe will kill. But the images are beautiful.

Awwwwww what a wonderful sight after listening to news about shootings all day.
If you had to put up with what I have to put up with, with these damned pests, you'd feel the same way.
Practice your ear skritching - yer gonna need it!
Sorry...............I just HATE deer;even pictures of them.
Absolutely adorable. I saw one of these pics on Collegehumor.com.
Man alive, how cute is that.
I am quite sure I'd never feel the same way. It'd mean the death of much that I like most about me, my appreciation of nature.
I am sorry there is not better management of the deer population where you are. I am in rural Western Washington, where there is healthy hunting of them, and sightings near roads are somewhat rare.
Then maybe this thread is one you should avoid. :~D
I'm sorry I pinged you.
I can appreciate beauty. I've had horrible and delicious interactions with the adults of these species.
But I love adorable.
My fault. I pinged her.
