Cool. I have watched every season. I am not big on the reality shows but this one just does it for me.

Hoping they will soon do a "Celeb Amazing Race" or all previous 2nd place couples to determine the best of the almost best.

Geeze, a gay couple and a mom/gay son team? C'mon CBS, that's old hat! Where are the transgendered couples? /sarcasm.

Good analysis, but I'm rooting for Rob & Amber.

I'll put my money on Ron and Kelly. Iraq Vet and Ms. SC. That is a 'made in America' team if there ever was one.

I have never been able to watch this as I work nights, but it is my 28 year old daughter's favorite. She insists that the two of us should give that thing a shot... hehehe... then she told me horror stories of what she was saying she thought we should be trying. Ha! From what I hear there are many "family feuds" publicized on this show. I think ours would be right in there with the best. LOL

I would like to be able to watch and see this from a beginning show. I hear so much from fellow FReepers that I know it would be fun... so ya'll just watch vicariously again for me. And I'll hear the details from my kid as she tries to convince me of all the reasons "we" should do this. Ha!

A big ping for the long and ever-growing official Amazing Race ping list.

If you want me to remove your name, please FREEPMAIL me. Ditto if you'd like to be ON the list.

With thanks again to jreimer who's been the official TAR keeper of the threads in the past. I hope I can do half as good a job.

Still think the first season was the best, with no models, no actors, no contestants from OTHER reality shows. I'll never forget the frat brothers - "Swing you fat bastard, swing," and Mom and Emily. And that finish! Supposedly Season One is coming out on DVD. Check it out!

If you've never seen this show - it's one definitely worth watching, if for nothing but the locales. Although YMMV, to me it deserved both Emmys! (Mark Burnett must be seething!)

Please no-one yell at me... but of "Uchenna and Joyce", which is which? To me, both names sound like female names.

I never pick who to root for until I've seen the first episode, but looks like I've got a couple contenders for root-against.

I LOVE this show. I can't wait for the new season. I am pulling for fellow Georgian Ron. His military training background should make him a natural at this race.

Last year was a bit disappointing with all the models and all the yelling. This installment seems to be heavy on the gay side. I hope the show sticks to the race and doesn't comment on social and political issues.

If there is a ping list please add me to it!

Thanks for the ping!

I'm happy we didn't have to wait 6 months for TAR to return for another season.

I always get a kick out of how the contestants sprint from the starting line when given the word "go" as if that extra second getting to their clue is the difference between winning and losing in such a long and arduous race. Remember the guy who gashed his leg........???
