I was just reading Article 2 of James Madison & Ben Franklin's opus magnus and started counting the number of times that masculine gender is indicated. Hmmm, I doesn't appear that Hildabeast (or "Law of the Sea" Condi for that matter) can even be president.:
Article II.

Yep, knocked back from the generic "where no man has gone before" to the more eunicized "no one has gone before"
Heh, heh, heh.....
'You have a point. The Constitution did not allow women to vote in 1787.'
The founding fathers had no conception of women voting, people of color voting, why they could barely tolerate the idea of Irish people voting!
Male, White, and property owners only. They no doubt tried to exclude the Joooooos.
Doesn't mean they were "bad" and that the document was "bad". Just a peek into the way they thought then...kinda like the way the Saudis and the Islamofascists handle things...now.
Bump!
Your post is worth another look when I have more time.
Thanks!

For what it's worth, it's obvious you're a troll and believe yourself more clever than most.
1: As I explained in my original post to you, "he" is simply the default for non-gender-specific statements. I'd presume you're aware of that, but know better than to presume any such thing.
2: When the cited Articles were written, women had no specific rights, and were therefore not even considered in the wording of the document.
Ergo, as women weren't considered, women aren't specifically banned from holding the office of president. Such specificity would require such a statement to include said feminine modifier, i.e.: "she", "her"
I bet you're still looking for a Declaration of War 20-D Short Form in order to consider Bush's dirty little police action to be a real war, too. It's in the bottom drawer of the archives, under the document explaining why American males should give American wimmin the right to vote or face extinction of the new Republic due to lack of willing females.
Friend of Saber's? I don't believe Saber would approve of such a level of pettyness. I doubt he'd approve of this tactic of yours.
You hope to be banned so you can go back home and b*tch
I write this for the archives since the weather reports are warning us to expect a troll tsunami.
Ohferpete'sake...Laz is this you?
And now, at Teddy's request, I symbolically bash you with the Hammer of the Nekkid Mole Rat...
Though, it's probably a little stale by now.

I think you are onto something.

Something is dead already Dale and it is between your ears.
I suppose women are not human either after all it is huMAN and MANkind.
Nice attention-getter Newbie!
Let me guess. You're now reading the TNIV, instead of the NIV, KJV, NKJV, or NASB translations of the Bible?
