In an earlier post today, I commented how Fundamentalist Christians appear to have a, ah well let's say underdeveloped, sense of humor.
Chill, let others do their thang.....turning the other cheek can get you slapped again and again and again.

He came on after that break actually laughing his head off saying something like "You guys! You've got it all WRONG! It's not about Connie!" Something like that.

Or, people could just grow some skin and suck it up...that's more realistic IMO. The problem is that the 'Net is full of charlatans, frauds and sharks. And our enemies are here posing as something they can't possibly be. So, sometimes you have to rattle the cages...you know?
Best FRegards,

Good thoughts. He may have an interesting show tonight. Gonna have another Professor writing the same stuff Ward Churchill is regarding 9/11 except he is saying Bush was Responsible.... Wonder if he has read:
************************************************
Unholy Alliance by David Horowitz Regnery Publishing, Inc.; ISBN: 089526076X Hardcover - 256 pages (September 2004) In this tour de force on the most important issue of our time, David Horowitz, confronts the paradox of how so many Americans, including the leadership of the Democratic Party, could turn against the War on Terror. He finds an answer in a political Left that shares a view of America as the Great Satan with Americas radical Islamic enemies. This Left, which once made common cause with Communists, has now joined forces with radical Islam in attacking Americas defenses at home and its policies abroad. From their positions of influence in the university and media culture, leftists have defined America as the root cause of the attacks against it. In a remarkable exploration of the Mind of the Left, Horowitz traces the evolution of American radicalism from its Communist past to its anti-war present. He then shows how this Left was able to turn the Democratic Party presidential campaign around and reshape its views on the War on Terror.
Horowitzs Unholy Alliance, writes John Haynes, the noted historian of American Communism, is an insightful, brilliant examination of the mental world of the radical left. Horowitz shows how todays radicals, unwilling to reflect on the internal flaws that destroyed Marxism-Leninism from within, have embraced an all-consuming nihilism in its place. This has led them to a hatred of American institutions and a solidarity with Islamic terrorists that makes the radical left more properly regarded as dangerous than loony. Unholy Alliance is an eye-opening book that should unsettle conventional assumptions and reveals why intellectuals and political leaders who applaud Michael Moore are no laughing matter. As Harvey Klehr, author of Venona: Decoding Soviet Espionage in America, writes, The world Communist movement may be moribund, but its habits of mind and ideological fantasies have not disappeared. This is a fascinating and depressing account.

Yep. Next he'll be hawking "Hannity Gear" ala O'Reilly. All the FR flap was just to get some publicity for his site...how cheesy! Wish Jim would have some way of blocking him off this site so he can't use it for show prep every day.

Good post. I've never had a problem with another freeper. I come here to read the news and learn from those who have a better grasp on politics and issues than I. The icing on the cake is that about every 10 posts, someone says something that makes me ROFL. I love this place.

Lucianne left in a hissy fit because SHE couldn't run the place.
Hissy fit..... is that the one you 'throw or pitch'... Coniption is the other.... lol
Don't leave out Drudge as he left with her and at some point removed his link to FR from his site. And Freepers still think the both of them are worth bringing to FR now. I don't frequent their sites.... The info on both can be secured from many other places on the net and winds up here on FR anyway...

Oh, Todd is thrilled; he thinks people actually read what he says and believe it.
He's one of those "great Freepers" that Sean says we have run off.

I am so out of the loop on FR social or inner politics type threads. I am a serious donor and love this place, but I am not really a "group" person. So I don't have a clue about the stuff going on back then and I am not sure I want to know!

Yes, some discussions get heated...Some posters get very passionate about their positions....A person learns which threads/posters to stay away from, just as we learn to stay away physically from certain individuals in life. OTOH a good open debate never hurt anyone and is the basis for rule by the people, for the people..... It's a political board .. there's gonna be disagreements about politics
Reminds me of home and holiday dinners with my family
We may not all agree and we may get in very heated debates
But we still all get along .. Just like a family does

That assumes there was ever a reason to watch/listen in the first place.
Whenever H&C comes on FNC I flip the channel. Of course, with the endless Gretaing-down of FNC, that's more and more rare these days that I actually get the opportunity to turn H&C off.

Did you hear him mention anybody else's name? Use some of your deduction powers.
