Shy moose given assertiveness training

A Dutch zoo has given a shy young moose assertiveness training to help him fit in with the herd.

Emmen Zoo recently bought Kenwood the moose from a zoo in Toronto, reports De Telegraaf.

But when he was put in the moose enclosure he was immediately bullied by a female called Winya.

"She's a real bitch," said biologist Agaath Kooi. "She ran after Kenwood and kicked and bit him wherever she could. And although Kenwood is much bigger than her, he let it all happen."

I'm stunned. This is hugh, and series.

Did they also teach the moose to move someone's cheese? And give it demerits for biting sisters?

Now they have to undo all the sensitivity training the moose underwent in Canada.

Just when I thought I was losing my mind, I read "Shy moose needs assertiveness training".

Thank you.

This post removed all doubt.

They bought a typically wimp Canadian male, this time a moose, and they had to train the poor thing to defend himself from a vicious female moose who was kicking the 'EH!' out of him.

Now that the moose has been trained to stand up for himself, DON'T send him back to Canada!

I think this story is an accurate commentary on society!

The victim had to go through "training" to fix the situation. Why not just put the agressor in moose jail because she hurt him??

It's all fun and games until someone loses an antler...
