Another product of the twisted mind-set of the liberal fringes. A very sad situation.

he believed catching the illness was a re-affirmation of his homosexuality.

They don't seem to like it when we say that....

" I knew it wasn't a death sentence."

Actually he started dying as soon as he was delivered from the womb, as we all are.

Nice attitude, my brother died of AIDS, he had medicine, he had two grandmothers who lived into their 90s, he had previous good health. He was dead by 35. I hope this man lives longer, but I don't know why I do, since it seems God put him on earth to spread stupidity. My brother did not see AIDS as an "affirmation of his homosexuality".

Help me out Freeps, if memory serves I believe that in the gay community there are street names for gays that want to get the "bug". I think that they are called bug chasers. It is some sort of bottom feeder badge of honor. It was some months ago but I think I ran across this in a Freep post??

"I'm a fighter. They will have to take me from this world kicking and screaming."

What a complete moron. This isn't a fantasy, it's not a movie. You don't leave kicking and screaming and fighting the good fight. You leave broken, wasted away, in pain and suffering from a medley of diseases, each significant on their own but combined to produce an intolerable amount of suffering. I know, I watched my brother die of it.

Now this idiot believes it to be some kind of badge of honor.

The 'Breathe' singer also says he doesn't think about dying, because he believes he can fight the disease for many years with the help of medicine.

He wouldn't have had to fight it at all if he hadn't gone actively seeking it! We're not supposed to feel sorry for this psychotic, are we?

"I thought HIV was a touchstone of being gay."

How many PSA's have we endured assuring us that AIDS is NOT a "homosexual illness?"

Unless your mom was a HIV positive drug addict, if you're a gay male, you pretty much have to work at getting AIDS though your complicit and voluntary sexual behavior. I don't want to think about what you have to do to get it.

(And no, I don't mean all the hetro Africans getting it)

The openly homosexual singer revealed he was HIV positive in December - six years after he was diagnosed with the fatal disease - and admits he believed catching the illness was a re-affirmation of his homosexuality.

Well, hey! There's a positive! (no pun intended)

My life expectancy should be the same as anyone else, so there is no need to panic."

They actually believe this crap??? The drugs alone are so toxic they can kill you, never mind the Aids. Sure they can stave full blown AIDS off for a while, but they don't cure and are extremely toxic!

He said: "You are going to think this strange, but I wanted to be HIV positive. I thought HIV was a touchstone of being gay."

This is sick in more ways than one.
