Prayer request for my fiance's mother

My fiance's mother's doctors think that, judging from her scans, she probably has cancer. She has had trouble breathing lately, and there is something very wrong with her lungs, and the tests are showing that her lungs are not the only areas her problems have spread to.

It could still turn out to be something else, but chances are that it is cancer. She will go in for more tests later this week.

She is elderly, but we are hoping that she'll have enough time to be able to see her grandchildren.

My fiance is a very strong man, but he has never been very touchy-feely and his relationship with his mother isn't a terribly emotional one, so he's having trouble figuring out how to comfort her.

If anyone here would be willing to pray for her health and strength and for his wisdom in the coming months, I would be very grateful.

Sockdologer, My prayers go up for your fiancé's mom. God's will over her health. Lord, please provide healing for this loved one. Surround her with angels, and give her strength. Provide the family with comfort and peace.  Surround them with your love. Give her son the confidence to show love and encouragement to his mother. Help him to be a source of strength in his mothers life. In Jesus' precious name. Amen
