Film 'Peril Harbor ‘41' opens to rave reviews in Vichy France. <Parody>

The new movie by film maker Micheal Noir premiered in Vichy France last weekend to rave reviews by all attending. Crowds chanted ‘Viva la Noir!’ and ‘Wunderbar!' for an entire hour after the credits finished rolling.

The movie concerns the justification and various issues surrounding the decision of Roosevelt to ask for a declaration of war on the country of Germany. Mr. Noir said that “Germany is a sovereign country that Roosevelt lashed out at to distract us from the failed ‘New Deal’ and the quagmire in the Pacific, and the justifications for war are very questionable.”

The film, in rapid sequence, makes the astounding points that Roosevelt had very close contact with Germany, blamed him for being out of touch with Germany, pointed out the lack of preparation for war, and condemned him for being so prepared for war that other countries could be provoked into attacking the US.

The film also has the first ever footage of Roosevelt in a wheel chair and suggests that Roosevelt’s aggression is due to his frustration over his crippled legs. “This old cripple wants to send young kids to fight for his glory” said Mr. Noir.

Religion was also thought to play an issue. Mr. Noir remarked that it was well known that Roosevelt was an Episcopalian, and that he was obviously plotting with the Archbishop of Canterbury in England to supplant the Lutheran Church in Germany. "We can't let this religous nut fight this holy war in our name. He was plotting this attack on Germany since he stole the election in 1932 by engineering the so-called 'great depresion' that he has yet to solve and the alleged Japanese misshap at Pearl Harbor is just an exuse he could come up with." cried Mr. Noir.

He concluded by saying that “Germany hasn’t actually attacked us other than shooting at some supply boats—but who can blame the Germans for doing that? Even if rumors are true that Hitler is exterminating the Jews: well too bad, we can’t force our ideas of right and wrong onto other sovereign countries over their internal affairs.”

This is from the "62 Years Ago" section of the paper. Can anyone imagine Micheal Moore and Joeseph Gobbels as a Laural and Hardy team (no offense to Laural and Hardy)?

---Moore resembles Himmler to closely to be realistic as Goebbels---

Didn't Hitler declare war on the US after we declared war on Japan?

What did Germany have that could have hit the United States? Roosevelt maneuvered us into a war with Japan but Ze French were perfectly happy living under Nazi occupation. The Resistance was a joke.

"Didn't Hitler declare war on the US after we declared war on Japan?"

Yah, but we declared it back.

You know, we never did find those heavy water WMD's after the war. Must have been a fraud.

You are right we should have just ignored Hitler and he would have gone away. America is at fault for WW2 also!

We had something very special going on in WW2...Nazis and Communist killing each other in large numbers. I agree with Truman that we should have just let those two fight it out and we could have depleted their ranks significantly.

And I will say it again because I want everyone to get this: Ze French were perfectly happy living under the Nazis.

You are so right. The way they make it sound, the French Resistance had 25 million members.

Why don't the Vichy just say what they really mean.."Hitler was right to kill the Jews." It's written between the lines all over this piece....oh yea, we already knew they think that. My bad.
