As the son of a retired United States Air Force career man of 38 years, I have to say this site really ROCKS! I get so sick of hearing that everything is Bush's fault.
"I cant find a job and it's all Bush's fault"...."I cant buy a house and it's all Bush's fault"....."It rained for 4 days straight and it's all Bush's fault"
No kidding, I have heard these things....not to mention people running around saying "that $%^&^^% Bush has us in a war that is killing our sons and daughters, and we don't belong there"
They should be grateful that these brave men and women are fighting for their right to even say such things, let alone allow them to live freely in this great country of ours!
Maybe they'd like to try living in a third world country for a while where the people have very little freedom and even less rights.
God Bless this country, the brave souls who fight for our freedom, and everyone smart enough to appreciate what they have given up for us.
I love this country and all who stand for it...Go Bush!

TEMPE, AZ YoyoDyne, YoYoDyne BBS, Yoyodyne Technologies
(1985-1995) Mark Firestone, Laurence Starks, John Lorance Top Quark, TopQUARK
"The BBS was origionally (and mainly) called The TARDIS BBS, and was started by John Lorance when he was 15 as a project to write "a RBBS clone that didn't crash every five minutes". He suceeded. QBBS and WBBS (by Wayne Conrad) fought it out for most popular BBS software in Phoenix for a while. Mark Firestone took it over -- it later mutated into Fear, the BBS and then YoYoDYNE BBS. It has been reincarnated as a web page and email list. The URL is http://tardis3.netfirms.com"
That website is unavailable at the moment

* And online sweepstakes company Yoyodyne announced last month a major promotional/gaming project in partnership with American Express aimed at driving online retail sales during the coming holiday season. Although each of these efforts is very different, taken together they represent fascinating approaches to making new media pay in New York.
