As the son of a retired United States Air Force career man of 38 years, I have to say this site really ROCKS! I get so sick of hearing that everything is Bush's fault.
"I cant find a job and it's all Bush's fault"...."I cant buy a house and it's all Bush's fault"....."It rained for 4 days straight and it's all Bush's fault"
No kidding, I have heard these things....not to mention people running around saying "that $%^&^^% Bush has us in a war that is killing our sons and daughters, and we don't belong there"
They should be grateful that these brave men and women are fighting for their right to even say such things, let alone allow them to live freely in this great country of ours!
Maybe they'd like to try living in a third world country for a while where the people have very little freedom and even less rights.
God Bless this country, the brave souls who fight for our freedom, and everyone smart enough to appreciate what they have given up for us.
I love this country and all who stand for it...Go Bush!
OK, thanks.
Get ready to lock and load kitties.......
I don't know about the weird serial.model number, but HP Pavillion freerepublic.com search gave me this:

Come look
??? How could someone search "HP Pavillion freerepublic.com" if they were not aware of the site. He said he was searching for HP Pavillion ZD7811CL and this site was the first thing to come up.
Interesting, good work.
I realize that. I'm just showing you what I found to see if such a thing as an HP Pavillion even exists, and if it had ever been discussed on a FR thread. It does and it had.
The weird ZD7811CL thing? I have no idea what that is, or what it means. I leave that to others to figure out. I don't know how the guy got here. Something smells hinky, but I'm not pulling the trigger just yet.
Welcome to FreeRepublic.com.
I just tried a search with "HP Pavillion" only. Google, Yahoo, and MSN Search. I looked at the first 30 items that came up and in all three searches this site was not on there.
Agree, it is too soon to pull the trigger on this one but better proceed with caution for now.
I don't know, but I just checked my FR mail. I'd made a little joke in #12 at 8:35:16 CST. I received a FR mail from YoYoDyNeTeChNoLoGiEs at 8:37:13 CST, and he/she was laughing at my joke. That's pretty quick for a newbie to start using private FR mail.
7D7811CL
Looks more like a license plate number from Europe.
unless he/she/it has been here before and had to change screennames... IMO

Very possible. Viking Kitties scanning. Conditional welcome to the newbie, but we'll see...
According to my Googles the ZD is a version of the HP Pavillion laptop computer.
But freerepublic doesn't come up as "the first site" (or anywhere close) in any of these searches:
"HP Pavillion"
"HP Pavillion ZD"
"Pavillion ZD"
etc.
"I did a search for HP Pavillion"
Sorry, we're all Mac users here.
Yep. I tried that also.
