Early spring is a good time people wise, or at least it use to be...Most of the snowbirds have gone home by then. I assume you will fly to Cabo, rent a car and do your thing...Or if you drive down it is no biggy...Just take your time and be watchful.....

Either that or they just "know."
You think Swervie puts out a spider search for "boobs and butts"? LOL
Hard telling with Swerve.

I like those content kitties on the roof.
The title "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" just came to mind.
George Noory is here in Austin today. Maybe I ought to go downtown and get some photos.
Flooring complete, Cheri?
I feel much as you do- I suppose the Other Side considers me a Clinton-Hater, but what few will acknowledge is that I came to it gradually, and honestly- unlike their irrational hatred of anything they deem "conservative."
When Clinton was elected, I didn't think much of it-- I had him pegged as "just another failed southern Governor who lucked into the White House." Much like Jimmy Carter.
It wasn't until his first year passed that I started noticing how he dropped friends and aides at the slightest wiff of controversy ( a sign of poor character ), could never tell the truth, even when the truth would do, and governed by polling results, that I realized what a rotters he and his lovely wife truly were.
And not to loose sight of the fact that he, the press, and the entertainment industry had a very symbiotic relationship-- with them in his corner, spinning the public and just not talking about so many wrong things, he was able to ( barely ) cling to power for eight sorry years.
I still fear that the fruits of his "legacy"-- the compromise of our national security and nuclear secrets-- will come winging into our cities one day. See tagline...
Don't you think that Carter and Clinton are as equally responsible for our lack in national security? I think they both are still quite dangerous, really.

That, and his implementation of NAFTA, will damn him forever in my book.
What an amazing article. Thanks for the post, aCe.
Cheers, over there.
That is really amazing.

I have a similar story, with some differences. I was a democrat when Clinton was first elected. The only Republican I had ever voted for previously was Ronald Reagan, in 1980, because even in my dim-witted state, I could see that Carter was a disaster. However, in 1992, after listening to some of Billy Jeff's speeches, I realized he was lying. But, when he was elected, I shrugged, and said to myself that I'd give him the benefit of the doubt, and see how things went. During his first couple of years, his indecisiveness frightened me - his reliance on polling before he'd make a decision on even the most minor thing. I do not want indecisiveness in my president. Then came the other things - the national security issues, and his illegal fund raising. It just went on and on. I changed my party affiliat in 1994. I did not want to be associated with a party that would support such a weak and immoral man.
No - we had to put off the installation for a couple of weeks. Our installer is having some back problems, and he doesn't have a huge crew to reassign the work. I am relieved to have put it off thought - we're doing some of the prep-work ourselves - tearing out the old carpet and staples, and we weren't done with that. So that bought us some time, and we're getting it done. I had to pack up the stuff in the living room and dining room - my china, stemware, other dishes that were in the china cabinet, then books and DVD's, CD's and such in the living, and the knick knack stuff, so I'm happy to have the extra time. Now we'll be ready, and not have to have had knocked ourselves out. We have the materials stacked in the family room, and I must say, I am thrilled with the appearance of the flooring materials. It is going to be beautiful! Now i'll have to purchase the plantation shutters for the windows, and rip off the old ugly curtains. Hmmm. Maybe I could do a Scarlett O'Hara and make a new dress! Not.
I didn't know that. I was young enough and disconnected enough to have not been paying much attention to politics. But I certainly do remember Clinton's disgraceful behavior on Bush's inauguration day. Somebody should have slapped him. "Hail to the chief" indeed.
I too thought it was a very unsual article.
Cheers back at yer Loddy. :)
