My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Who's moods these are I wonder so
His heart's been numbed and begs to know
what spiritual fire must touch him there
to reignite his hearts lost glow
What little hope he has held so dear
to drive him on and quell his fear
between the moods his mind does quake
in sensing that the end is near
his heart it shudders near to break
the inner self does quiver and shake
No real peace is found through sleep
instead he relives each mistake
The moods are divers vast and deep
But I have work to do to earn my keep
With little time to sit and weep.

I found you there one night
I found you there one night
our place where we meet...
You are my starch
in wide open space
my succor when I'm lost
you are my sparkle on cold nights
my sun on warm days
the water in my jar...
The balance weight on my scale
you were written for me
in start dust of the millennia
You are gathered to listen
for me as I go by
You cling to my skin
enfold, shape my wondering
on still starry nights...
Caress me by moonlight
I look for you...
In the scattered place of wandering souls...
Listen for me..
See a faint sparkle? It's me...

We'll wear yellow sashes and red feathers
an give 'em all forty lashes
dark of night nor light of dawn
nor pink the color of a hawn
will this matey wear a pink
bandanna round covering his hair
black and curly, unruly it be
a fun lovin' pirate of the
of the wild and raging sea...
by bentfeather
To: All
You remembered
You remembered
I once had red hair
it was an escape for me
in the barren years
There was no notice from you
and your wandering only
one of far away eyes
into strange realms of your
secret world of aloneness...
almost as though you...
your disappearance
was immanent
it could not be stopped,
nor would be stopped
my hair changed color again
I was trying to get your notice back
but, you had moved beyond
I could no longer see my
own reflection
day became
night...night became day
I let you go some where on the edge of both

Oriental gardens
Oriental gardens
tinsel for two
snow on the mountain
where you thinking of me
at all?
Chimes tolled
on the wind...
Night lights
warm cozy dinners
eaten in shadowed
corners...close to you
Gray skies
cold winds
Texas was not
the same without you
Did it hurt when
I told you not now?
Later would be best
we could talk then
our music is soft
on the mind easy
to listen to concerts
You understand me.

Doctor J.....Dearest little Doctor, thou art as stately a man as thou art stout. Having the memory of an elephant and a mind for men to envy. As skilled in surgery as thou art in craft. Strong beyond thy self and deeply sentimental. Such keen perception into human nature. Quick wit and laughter. You would give happiness as well as mind the body. Reminding all of God the great healer. You are wonderfully human and stately as thou art stout.

Water Poem

The small drop of water leaves the comfort of the cloud
It falls like a knife through warm butter
The cool brisk wind caresses it as it falls
The wind gently nudges it
Its brothers and sisters smile as it struggles
From below the laughter of children can be heard
They squeal with delight as the drops land gingerly upon their faces
The wind once again rushes up to the drop
The cold feeling sends a shiver through it
The laughter is closer now
The rush of excitement fills the air
But it does not last long
The wind howls once again
Its fury drives the drop away from the others
It watches, saddened by the separation
The thought still courses through it
As it lands softly upon the leaf
The anguish ripples through as it rests
Its journey not yet done.

Water Poem!!
I love it. Good tunes and coffee as always.Thank You.
Such a wonderful day in NY today, temps in the 40s ice and snow melting. I had to go out for groceries and it was a pleasure.
