Oh I don't think I'll ever do it. For awhile when I was shooting shotgun every week at the gun club, we thought about loading shotgun because it's relatively easy, but never got around to it. And shotgun shells are pretty affordable.
Ramius had a loader for awhile, but he gave it to a friend.
well, I think the center hung back quiver is the easiest to use for that.
I like the a belt quiver for 3-D shooting and stumping. Plains quivers are fairly easy to use. Both are reasonably easy to make as well.
Used the little hand loader Lee put out for my 12 when I shot trap weekly. Never did try loading pistol or rifle. Now my muzzleloaders, each time is a hand load.
It can be hard to find clay pigeons this time of year, lots of people seem to shoot them around Xmas, I've had trouble getting them myself.
Next farm over, I think the boys got shotguns for Xmas, there was a tremendous amount of gunfire going on there on Christmas Day.
Tell us about Lisa's deer rifle if you think of it later.
I'll take pictures tomorrow... She mentioned some kind of Long Colt .45 handgun she bought, an SKS, and some other kind of rifle.
I wouldn't hold out hope that her guns will be the type to ogle over, Lisa is cheap and frequents pawn shops ;~D
Eeek!
Bargains bargains bargains....
That's what Walmart's for.
Well, Happy New Year, everyone, and good night.
Happy new year everyone!

I'm hoping for standard publishing...we'll see how I feel after a coupla rejections. ;-)
Thanks for the link, Rose! Some good information there.
Happy New Year!
And now to bed, and now to bed...
Yeah, Austin is a special kind of place ... even I, a native San Antonian, must admit that.
A lot of people buy condos and houses for their kids, hen sell 'em. The market is pretty brisk, as I understand it.
We went outside and set off firecrackers to chase away the bad luck, and burned sparklers to shine in the New Year --- I fugure my bit's done. <grin>
I have to go to work tomorrow ... but then I'm off again till Tuesday. Gotta find a bowl of black-eyed peas, and I'll be good to go!
Happy New Year!
We toasted the New Year with 3 bottles of bubbly among the 5 adults, munching on some Toasted Pecans and some Spiced Pecans. Then we decided to watch the first disc of ROTK-EE which none of us had seen because we hadn't had time since they gave it to me for Christmas!! It was really good. I like the extra scenes very well, especially the one between Pippin and Faramir, and even the one between Faramir and Denethor, particularly Denethor's 'waking dream' sequence. ;o) We had to stop at the end of the first disc since it was getting late.
I helped Paul cut up the pork tenderloin for Puerco Pibil, which he's gonna cook for lunch tomorrow. I can only take a bit cause it's VEY spicy!! Now, to bed!
Happy New Year!!!
Just for the record, y'all were a big part of a really nice 2004. You guys are the bestest.
Thank you LF! - 2004 was pretty good to me as well... And most of the really good parts included the Hobbit Hole :~D
Hullo Rose! We went to bed early... Middle of the night we wake up to mayhem of Gidget barking hysterically... takes a minute to realize it's midnight and the neighbors are all shooting off fireworks! Went outside to check the horses, they were alert but quiet in the barn. The fireworks stopped by about 12:10, everyone settled down again. Stuff like that really messes with Gidget's head. FWIW, the Homer dog was calm about the fireworks, more anxious about Gidget.
Happy new year... It's our year to get rejected, Rosie...
Gotta rethink my New Year's Eve plan next year. Sure, it was fun watching approximately 10 hours' worth of FMwS, but I have to make arrangements to fetch the bothers in ten minutes. I probably should have gone to bed before 3.
Our neighbors shot off fireworks, which is how we actually realized it was midnight. Then they kept letting rockets off until almost one. It was a little worrying because in the past fireworks have landed on our roof.
