We went outside and set off firecrackers to chase away the bad luck, and burned sparklers to shine in the New Year --- I fugure my bit's done.

Hullo Rose! We went to bed early... Middle of the night we wake up to mayhem of Gidget barking hysterically... takes a minute to realize it's midnight and the neighbors are all shooting off fireworks! Went outside to check the horses, they were alert but quiet in the barn. The fireworks stopped by about 12:10, everyone settled down again. Stuff like that really messes with Gidget's head. FWIW, the Homer dog was calm about the fireworks, more anxious about Gidget.

Our neighbors shot off fireworks, which is how we actually realized it was midnight. Then they kept letting rockets off until almost one. It was a little worrying because in the past fireworks have landed on our roof.

Morning Hair et al.

Gypsygirl did pretty good, got a bit anxious but settled back down in her bed fairly quickly. Fireworks lasted about 15 minutes or so and then all was quiet in theshire.

Glad to hear Homer wasn't too upset with the fireworks.
