This Must Stop! (But how *can* it stop, if everyone keeps bumping?)

Almost everywhere I go lately I see people picking their teeth of I assume plaque/food and sometimes flicking it away from them. Even when they don't flick it these people push elevator buttons I push, type on computer keyboards I use, and push doors I push. Where did this come from? It's like picking your teeth in public with your bare hands in the latest trend. In fact, I am in a computer lab on campus sitting next to some mofo picking his teeth as I type this -- seriously. This is gross and it must stop. Do people realize they are spreading their germs? Many more people need to make a big fuss about this!

The most consistently found contaminant found on public keyboards is human feces.

One time while having dinner in a restaurant, the woman at the table next to us picked her baby up and placed him on the table next to her dinner plate for some reason. The diaper was full, and a small lump fell out of same. She nonchalantly flicked this lump off the table, placed the baby back in his stroller, and continued eating.

For some odd reason, I lost my appetite, and have never returned to that dining establishment.

You're all getting overworked. You see, it's just that IRA's timing is off. Had this been posted on a Friday afternoon as a comic relief thread (this is about the funniest site on the www. The wit, ingenuity, and resources of Freepers astound me) it would have been taken in the spirit of fun, no one would have been offended. (although some of the tangential posts depicting/describing, what are at best, unsanitary personal habits have been simultaneously informative and revolting!).

He'll learn, one way or the other.

I used to work for Nortel in one of the many engineering groups. Adults.... educated.... professionals.... you know, fine upstanding people, right? There were more than a few people there who would never flush the toilet leaving behind gaseous trophies of extraordinary dimensions or dribbling pee all over the floor and toilet seat.
