This Must Stop! (But how *can* it stop, if everyone keeps bumping?)

Almost everywhere I go lately I see people picking their teeth of I assume plaque/food and sometimes flicking it away from them. Even when they don't flick it these people push elevator buttons I push, type on computer keyboards I use, and push doors I push. Where did this come from? It's like picking your teeth in public with your bare hands in the latest trend. In fact, I am in a computer lab on campus sitting next to some mofo picking his teeth as I type this -- seriously. This is gross and it must stop. Do people realize they are spreading their germs? Many more people need to make a big fuss about this!

I was going to post a thread about nose-picking and put it in breaking news. But, heck, plaque picking is so much more relevant. Maybe we could just get the mods to move this one into breaking news.

You know what else is bad, every time I go to the theatre or to a restaurant I see people picking their seat. When playing golf people tend to grab their balls.

It is distressing, however, until you can be sure that everyone who has recently used a rest-room also washed their hands - I suggest you carry sani-wipes or a germicidal gel.

You may have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder).

I was raised on a farm and believe me, I and my siblings ate and touched everything that was exposed to chickens, geese,cats, dogs, pigs, goats, cows, horses and the hired hands. A tooth pick would have been considered gentile. We were quite healthy.

I've always wondered why people wash their hands AFTER they go to the restroom rather than before. You watch what you eat, take a shower, wear clean shorts and then use dirty hands:)

Hey...teeth is the least of it. There are hatian immigrants here who pee anywhere they happen to be standing. Anywhere. We have to teach the kids to use a bathroom when they come to the US, because they didn't have them in Haiti.
THe long bulky skirts usually hide the peeing in action...but if you see a liquid trail ....try to avoid it.
