Almost everywhere I go lately I see people picking their teeth of I assume plaque/food and sometimes flicking it away from them. Even when they don't flick it these people push elevator buttons I push, type on computer keyboards I use, and push doors I push. Where did this come from? It's like picking your teeth in public with your bare hands in the latest trend. In fact, I am in a computer lab on campus sitting next to some mofo picking his teeth as I type this -- seriously. This is gross and it must stop. Do people realize they are spreading their germs? Many more people need to make a big fuss about this!

What every happened to not doing things that are not sanitary? What ever happened to good hygiene? Is this a sign of the times? Is this yet another sign that we are a society in decline? What does this say for our culture?

Only when in pain (e.g. a very hard crumb stuck between teeth or between tooth and gum, etc), and only well out of immediate sight, naturally wiping with a Kleenex ASAP and to the washroom ASAP after that. But generally, yes, it's uncivilized! :=)
