This Must Stop! (But how *can* it stop, if everyone keeps bumping?)

Almost everywhere I go lately I see people picking their teeth of I assume plaque/food and sometimes flicking it away from them. Even when they don't flick it these people push elevator buttons I push, type on computer keyboards I use, and push doors I push. Where did this come from? It's like picking your teeth in public with your bare hands in the latest trend. In fact, I am in a computer lab on campus sitting next to some mofo picking his teeth as I type this -- seriously. This is gross and it must stop. Do people realize they are spreading their germs? Many more people need to make a big fuss about this!

In an average day your hands will have come into indirect contact with 15 penises (touching door handles etc.)

 

That's why I always use a handkercheif to touch door handles... I like my 15 penis touches to be direct.

What I don't understand is washing your hands after using a public restroom than pushing or pulling door handles that hundreds of others who didn't wash also touched in order to leave the restroom.

Piggish behavior. Keep hand wipes in your pocketbook. People pick their noses, sneeze, dig in their ears, etc. All disgusting. I'd say it's a lack of proper upbringing.

I used to work with a Sikh from India. He used to take his shoes and socks off and clip his toe nails while he sat at his desk. When he got his nails down short enough, he would then use the pocket clip part of a ballpoint pen top to scrape out all the toe jam from beneath his nails. He used to do all this while carrying on casual conversations with others.

And he believed the reason people didn't like him was because we were all a bunch of red-necked racists.
