Pete's Phone Conversation with Steve Gardner! - Must Read!

Steve Gardner was there with John Kerry. He was the forward gunner on Kerry's boat in Vietnam. He watched, worked with, and closely observed Kerry on a daily basis for a significant amount of time in the Combat Zone in Vietnam. Long enough to know the guy was a schmuck and slimeball. He was the one guy Kerry and his operatives could not buy off.

Sorry, this is long... but those who are grateful for winning this pivotal election should read this....

Steve Gardner was virtually the only Swift Boat Sailor of Kerry's so-called "Band of Brothers" under Kerry's direct command - who could not be bought off. And bought off they were no matter what their denials in front of the MSM cameras - more about that in a minute.

I talked with Steve for about an hour on the phone and will meet with him soon. I discussed some job possibilities with him with my company which would be initially limited (unfortunately I don't own the company - yet).

However the United and Eternally Grateful Conservative Community (sounds like a church, I know - maybe it is...) should be able to come up with something far better than I can offer him right now.

We need to get the word out and keep this going. This story can be told in Churches and with a "plate pass" and send-off to Steve.

After all, Bush WON and the bible says that "God puts those in power according to his plan" or something like that... Steve and all of us who fought to keep the evil Left out of power were part of the plan. The plan to keep Conservatism in power - cause God want's it that way.

The alternative would have been mealy mouthed "President" Traitor Kerry groveling to the United Nations and telling the world "how bad America is and we're sorry" ad naseum while sucking up to France and Canada. No doubt while stabbing our troops in the back since he has a proven history of it.

A study came out recently showing that "Red" states give far more to charitable causes than "Blue" states. What's that say about the character of "Red Staters" despite the slander from the Media and Left?

It's Christmas and Steve and his family deserve some Christmas cheer. Steve made his stand against the Kerry Juggernaut and was fired for it. He has paid the price enough - now its time for the rest of us to do the honorable thing and show our appreciation.

I also encouraged him to get with one of his closest confidants or friends and perhaps start a website or fund that explains the following at a minimum: Who he is.

The major role he had in defeating Kerry He was the only SBV on Kerry's boat who could NOT be bought off by Kerry and Teresa - showing outstanding character and integrity. Sources tell me that Kerry's former shipmates who went "Kerry" were given as much as a million each in offshore accounts. Moveon.org could have easily paid that amount themselves, not to mention the vast amount of other resources Kerry has at his disposal.

They figure "Hey, I don't care who wins - I got mine!" Its not the first time it has happened in history. Kerry himself long ago sold out whatever honor and integrity he had and was eager to do it... So did Clinton and Billary.

At least three of the Swiftees who campaigned with Kerry admitted to Steve they were bought and highly paid for by Democrat Operatives. They tried to encourage him to join them "It will be made worth your while Steve!"... No doubt the one who was able to get Steve on board with Kerry would have received another million bonus which would have been a Drop-in-The-Bucket to have a united SBV front for Kerry to win the election. What happened to him when he took his stand. Steve unjustly lost his job and was politically persecuted. The bosses and company owners who fired him readily admitted they were hard core partisan Democrats and Kerry supporters. Because Steve would not join Kerry, they fired him. The meetings he had with Kerry and others and the threats and other coercion he received.

How people can send money to help him through this tough spot and support the "Buy Steve Dinner" campaign which I am officially coining today. After all, who wouldn't gladly buy lunch or dinner for a Swift Boat Vet? Steve could have easily taken the money offered to him by Kerry's operators and other Democrat Operatives (Sorros for example) thus providing Kerry a united "Front" of cover but he refused on principal.

Yes, John O'Neil was the star "prosecutor" of the truth about Kerry and has been after him for decades. John deserves great credit and gratitude for the champion he is. But Steve's role was critical in this whole thing and needs to be recognized. Steve was principal in John O'Neil being able to say over and over to the media - "Not all Swiftees who served with Kerry on his boat support him" - leaving the media flustered and angry that they could not bring down President Bush or the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. Steve has suffered significant persecution from the Left over this whole thing.

Just to clear things up - My understanding is that neither O'Neil nor any of the other main Swift Boat organizers got enriched nor made any money from their work other than to pay their expenses so they could operate on a daily basis to hammer away at Kerry. Look at the last SBV video - look at the line up of 250+ men of honor. Take a good long look at the character and integrity etched in their faces. THAT is Middle America. There were there doing the job we all needed them to do fighting Kerry in this election. The money above and beyond operating expenses specifically went to military charities. So it's not like they have a fund to cut a big check to Steve. They didn't get rich and make a bunch of money although some did get exposure and made a few contacts which is the least they deserve for delivering the truth and knock-out blow.

Bringing Kerry down would have been more difficult without Steve's and the SBVs heroic stand.

I told Steve that every one of the people who sent money to the original SBV movement (myself included) would be happy to send him whatever the spirit guides them to.

Even if the thousands of SBV supporters and other happy and grateful Republicans/Bush supporters sent him $30.00 or $50.00 each it would help him - A LOT! (do the math). I guarantee some will send far more than that once we get this up and running and the word is spread to the far corners of the Conservative Movement.

People who are grateful for Steve's action should think of it as "buying Steve dinner" for his service not only in Vietnam but also in a major role in keeping Kerry and the Leftists out of power!

Raising money to "Buy Steve Dinner" can be something scouting troops, hunters clubs, military organizations, NASCAR and motor sports of all kinds, Rodeo's and other organizations can do for Steve. Conservative groups should be able to find "Grant Money" in their coffers to help out Steve. There is money out there, we just need to start trickling some of it to a guy who fought Kerry hard and deserves a bit of help. Add it all up and Steve comes out the top dog, well rewarded for his loyalty to the Heartland of America. Steve can perhaps be invited as a paid speaker to organizations, though I am not sure he really wants to. Not everyone likes public speaking.

Can you imagine what a horrid road we would have embarked on with Kerry and Edwards in office and their hand on the Supreme Court! Not to mention the further Leftist social engineering they would have done with our schools, society, etc. Not to mention WE would be the depressed losers right now instead of the RATS!

I also encouraged Steve to write a book and capitalize on what he knows about John Kerry and this whole experience as a key player in this election. He more than deserves some rewards now. After all, he took a stand for the truth while those others unfortunately disgraced themselves for greed and Teresa Heinz/Sorros $$$ payola....

Steve is not intimidated by anything except the daunting task of writing a book (who can blame him). So, anyone who has leads or advice for Steve on getting that ticket punched, it would be appreciated. If self-absorbed Clinton can write a POS book about himself while trying to revise history, Steve should be able to cobble something together that would get some REAL history told! How about this for a title "The One Who Stood", or "Not For Sale" by former Swift Boat Veteran Steve Gardner"

If the millions of grateful Conservatives help Steve come out of this thing successful and rewarded, will TOTALLY smear it in the face of John Kerry, Dan Rather, John Edwards, Charlie Wrangle, Michael Moore, Barbara Streisand, Terror-A-Zza Heinz Kerry, Moveon.org and all the other Lying Leftist minions that you can think of and can't stand.

Steve is a true American Hero comparable to any number of great unsung heroes that came along in the history of this nation. His actions prevented Kerry and his thugs from spinning any appearance of a united front of credibility with Kerry's "Band of Greedy Brothers" who were ready to sell us out. Steve helped deliver the knock out punch of truth needed late last summer.

I've always believed that the "brothers" were paid for, but I've never seen any evidence of it. What evidence is there?

They were paid off with very, very nice hotel accommodations and meals on the John Kerry campaign trail. Living a lifestyle unknown to them and having people genuflect and suck up them in ways they never experienced before.

My wife and I received a nice "Thank You" letter from the Gardners. We were more than happy to contribute to the Gardners for Steve's brave (more than you can imagine) contribution to preventing the pathological liar, John Kerry, from becoming President. Thank God for Steve's sacrifice. God bless the Gardners.
