I believe National Treasure implies that Freemasons are a POSITVE influence on our country.
Anybody that knows the TRUTH about Freemasonry rather than the propaganda they wrap themselves in will NOT be takin in by the positive portrayal in this movie.
Please America, wake up, don't buy into the guys who brought "Seperation of Church/State" to America, model ISLAM as the highest truth (the Shriners), label the Holy Bible as "Furinture" in a lodge, and outlaw the name of "Jesus" in any lodge.
I know I will get flamed by 10,000 Masons and Mason supporters on this, but if you want to know the TRUTH read what was the only book given to EVERY mason until just recently - MORALS AND DOGMA by Albert Pike. it is 800 pages, but the truth about masonry can be found from their own lips.
BTW, Albert Pike is the BIG man in Masonry in the US - and he just also happened to found the KKK. Again, using religion to achieve his social purposes.

Albert Pike explained in Morals & Dogma how the true nature of Freemasonry is kept a secret from Masons of lower degrees:

It is not intended that he shall understand them; but it is intended that he shall imagine he understands them. Their true explication is reserved for the Adepts, the Princes of Masonry. I think you are taking this movie too seriously. There were Masons in "peggy sue got married" and they supposedly did some rather strange things (don't want to spoil the plot). I know nothing about the Freemasons, but National Treasure is just a silly movie, that I do know.
You fell for that one? You're not as bright as I thought. That was published years ago to throw guys like you off the scent. Get real. Do you think true Masons would really reveal the truth of the designs we have on the world? I'm giving you hints and glimpses but you can't truly grasp the full concept. You have no idea what you're dealing with.
