Women who are obese have less chance of being brainy, doctors claimed yesterday. Medics have found that too much fat can cause loss of brain tissue.
The damage is to areas known as the temporal lobes, which control memory, speech and hearing. And the risk increases by 16 percent with every kilogram of excess weight.
Obesity could even trigger dimentia in older women, researchers discovered in a 24 year old study of Sweden.
Team leader Dr. Deborah Gustafson said: 'Fat is a risk for women. Other studies have reported similar things.'
More than a third of people are overweight. Researchers say obesity creates an excess of the hormone cortisol, which can cause tissue loss.
It is already recognized as a factor in heart disease, strokes and cancer.

I hear medical researchers that do these kind of studies get sex less often and are lousy lovers.
I have no idea what the meaning of that photo is, sorry.
As opposed to fat guys which are ultra intelligent?
Well, Anna had her brains relocated..yes, divided in two parts, then implanted...I think that explains the medical side of it....(chuckle)
Good observation. I'm in favor of this procedure.
Fat women are heavier too!
Bridget Jones..a slightly overweight Renee Zellwegger
Ahh, that explains it.
Chick flick that I didn't see.
Uh, I don't know about this article. From what I have observed, Fat Ladies always have the last say. 'It's never over till the fat lady sings."
I can compromise...............
I'd also like to be on record as saying that Anna Nichole is completely hot! regardless of her I.Q.
