As a homeschooled individual, I think that the issue itself should be more publicized.

Kids don't rat their parents out unless they've had a pretty good dose of emotional manipulation at a public school.
In other words, you can not be the person you claim.

Ever seen what the average SAT score is of a home-schooled individual, as compared to the public-schooled one? Not only that... ever actually met one of these poor high-school homeschool kids who's pining for public school? Me either. Although I've only know about 150 high-school homeschoolers in my life and only was one for about three years (early graduation rocks)...

Maybe some kids are just idiots?

There is no supervision and at times my parents will even forbid me from doing my schoolwork, even when I am very behind. Who set the schedule you are behind on? Additionally, you forgot to mention the lack of marxist dumbing down, lack of secularity, and the lack homosexual conditioning and sensitivity brainwashing...

Ah yes, a troll from the NEA pretending to be a home schooled person.
So what liberal arts school graduated you with a degree in teaching?

Watch that International Baccalaureate program - it is a curriculum that is sponsored by the U.N. and the literature and social studies components are highly socialistic. Additionally the science is very firmly slanted towards the global warming and environmental extremism positions. You'd better check it out carefully if you are of the conservative persuasion. It is not something I'd put my student in.

I have a slightly different perspective from most others in the forum, because I'm a gamer and used to post on video game message boards. The only successful homeschoolees I've ran into are Freepers' children.
Many, many parents really do pull their precious spoiled brats out of school because they claim to be picked on or whatever, and leave them home all day to do nothing except surf the Internet and play video games.
However, that kind of parent will never produce a good student, homeschooled or public schooled. If their precious darling got a F on a test, they'd sue the school and have the administrator fire the teacher.
Homeschooling should not have limits placed on it at all. Good parents will produce good, productive members of society. Bad parents will produce hellions. That's the way it's always been, and nothing will change.

Heh. Thanks.
I look at it this way. Suppose this troll was actually homeschooled. Image how much more ignorant this individual would be, if he/she had attended public school. The parents must have been doing God's work. ;-)
