Ping List Envy---How big is your Ping List?
PJ-Comix | November 12, 2004 | PJ-Comix

Over the past couple of months, my DUmmie FUnnies PING List has grown very rapidly until it now numbers 252 Freepers. Okay, so how big is your Ping List? Maybe I'm suffering from Ping List Envy but I have to know how big the other Ping Lists are.

FReeper farmfriend is compiling a master list of ping lists if you'd like to add yours to the mix ;)

From the sound of it, Dick Cheney has the biggest ping list.

It's true. It's true

"Who is PJ-Comix, and what is he doing with a ping list?"

PJ-Comix just asked which was the biggets (I dunno). But it makes for an interesting FReeper culture thread!  !

how do you want it listed? All of you for pinging or just the keeper.

It depends on the purpose of the list. If you just want folks to know how to get on or off a ping list, then I'd say, list GretchenM. If the list serves another purpose/s, then maybe all five of us. ?

As for a title, it might be helpful to call it, "A Day in the Life of President Bush (The Dose)".

It serves both perposes. I use it to ping the pingers to a thread myself.

There is an HTML Sandbox but it doesn't teach about creating Ping List?

HTML not needed. Either place the Pingees on a notepad or, as I might do, even put it in your ABOUT page.

How do you reply to more than one person?

Simple. Click the Reply button to anyone else. Then delete that name, then copy and paste your Ping List into that empty box.

It is actually 2012 after removing two people.

And this Ping List is about Texas?

I don't have one. :)

But then, I'm a woman, so I guess I don't worry as much about how big my ping list is. ;)

Honestly, I don't know how you are able to slog through all that drivel/hate/paranoia over yon and complete a list for our amusement.

The DUmmies are sort of my hobby. It is like having a DUmmie Ant Farm. It fascinates me to see them scrambling around in the DUmmie Ant Farm. Sort of like a sociological/psychological study of the highly disturbed.

My northeast Ohio ping list has 26 names and I'm proud of it.

Any discussion of the Hartzville Flea Market? I used to go to it and really loved it. Plus you could get a lot of exercise walking around there because it is so big. At least 6 to 7 miles of walking up and down the rows.

"Each of mine is somewhere in the neighborhood of 350-400 or so... But mine is only about 100 less than yours and it is growing RAPIDLY. "

Well, before finishing the thread, all I know having read these responses is that I definitely want to be on both your ping lists! ;)

(sorry PJ, I'm already on Michael's) :)

This should be a thread all of its own., IMO. FR Ping List Headquarters kind of thing.

Actually we need a weekly Ping List ranking as how big the Ping Lists are. I would like to see that. If that Texan, Eaker, isn't exaggerating Texas-style, then he would probably have the biggest Ping list right now.

Gotta be mhking's "Just Damn" list

Eaker claims many more with his Texas Ping list at 2012. But that might be a Texas estimate.

Exactly 'WHAT' is a ping?

Um, when you're Pinged you'll know the answer.
