Yeah, well. I think it's been clear to everyone for quite some time that Lucas is certifably batsh$t.

And just why would I think that?

As I posted elsewhere a couple of days ago, I fully expect "Fahrenheit 9/11" to get the Best Picture Oscar, since it's a high profile way of Hollywood's leftists responding to Bush's re-election with a great big, televised "screw you."

It certainly explains why the heroine of TPM and AOTC, Padme, as senator would be in opposition of the creation of a clone army.

He's Mr. Star Wars, no?

If so it doesn't surprise me, he's such a failure now. His failure being beating a dead horse, so much in common with the dims.

All Hollywood really has to do to nail their vampiracal coffin shut is to give that fat pig another Oscar.

Well its eluded GL. Maybe GL is thinking it might help him in his cause to actually win one with Ep. III by getting the liberal sympathy vote.

Exactly. If I were making a movie, and wanted to attract as many audience members as I could muster; you would NEVER know my party affiliation. Any donations would be made in confidence, I'd never appear at a speech, never endorse anyone; and the instant a politician appeared at a party I was attending, I'd head for the door. Well .... I may stay if 'W' showed up; but anything lower down the food chain, and I'd be gone.

You see, you NEVER want to alienate 52% of your potential customer base. This was a very foolish move, from a man who should certainly know better.

My uncle graduated highschool with George Lucas. If you have seen, the last two Star Wars movies you know that his initial success was likely a fluke and he doesn't know how to deliver to fans of a beloved property. The last Star Wars video game was 10 times better than anything this Jar Jar idiot touched.

He's definitely anti-Bush. I can't spill how I know this (and will probably be hazed accordingly), but it's true.

Maybe Lucas is trying to impress Linda Ronstadt again.

I know I'll probably enjoy EPISODE III, but it has as much chance of winning an Oscar as the director of BEDTIME FOR BONZO has of getting a lifetime achievement award.

You obviously didn't see Attack of the Clowns...

The fight scene was cool if not very realistic.

If you just fast forward through the dull clunky parts it is a pretty good movie even if it is only 15 minutes long.

Half hour into it I'm thinkin' "let's get this over with."

And I burst out laughing in the theater at the Yoda/Saruman fight scene.
