We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Interesting factoid to show and tell to your liberal associates:
PRESIDENT BUSH WAS THE FIRST PERSON ELECTED TO THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT WITH MORE THAN 50% OF THE POPULAR VOTE IN 16 YEARS. THE LAST TIME THIS EVENT OCCURRED WAS IN 1988 AND IT INVOLVED ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL WHOSE LAST NAME WAS BUSH AND THE LOSER WAS ALSO LIBERAL FROM MASSACHUSETTS. IN 1988, THE LOSER WAS THE GOVERNOR OF MASSACHUSETTS. THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT IN 2004 WAS THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR OF MASSACHUSETTS IN 1988, AND WOULD SUFFER THE SAME FATE IN THE 2004 ELECTION THAT THE THEN GOVERNOR OF MASSACHUSETTS DID IN 1984.
Some more fun facts to show and tell.
President Bush is the first President since 1936 - FDR - to win the Presidency with a majority vote AND pick up representation in his party in the House of Representatives AND pick up representation in the Senate AND pick up one or more state houses.
The GOP gained five seats in the Senate.
The GOP gained four seats in the House.
The GOP gained one governorship.
Terry McAwful, the UOx42 hand-picked leader of the democRATS, has now presided over three straight losing contests, and in each has allows the democRATS to get their tushes handed to them on a platter. This continues the notion that UOx42 has been the best thing to happen to the Republican Party.
The GOP won the vote in 30 states, the democRATS only 20 and the District of Columbia.
The democRATS had no answer. They even tried comparing President Bush to Hitler. In short, the result was that 95% of the counties in America.
Thank you Terry McAwful. We appreciate your brand of campaign.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
According to at least three sources, one inside the Kerry campaign, and two outside of it, but with ties to senior Kerry advisers, some of the "early polling numbers" were in fact direct reports from Kerry campaign or Democratic Party operatives on the ground in such critical states as Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin. According to a Washington lobbyist with knowledge of the numbers, the numbers were packaged together so as to appear to be exit poll results. They were then scrubbed through several sources to land in the lap of sympathetic bloggers who these operatives believed would put the numbers up with little question.
Some of the numbers claimed to be exit polling data that showed Kerry with a 8-1 voter ratio. As soon as the numbers hit the Internet, panic set in.
"It was awful," says a Republican House staffer. "You just felt sick when you saw the numbers."
I want a criminal investigation of this.....they tried to disenfranchise our votes..

Good Afternoon. Checking in after a 2 hr nap.
Right now I feel worse than when I went to sleep. I have a cold setting in.
Limbaugh mentioned that, but reading it myself, plus your comments....more info and understanding.
No sympathy for that crowd....EVER from me.
What likely happens is what happened in 2000. Exit polling places employ people to exit poll for two days of training and two days of work per election year. It is not even a real temp job. It is at best a 2 day job. What the Exit polling company does is put help wanted ads in the local papers where they need Pollsters. Then hire the people that apply and give them a days training.
To produce fake numbers all one has to do is have a few ringers apply when the hiring ads are placed. Then those ringers call in fake numbers at noon, 2Pm and 4Pm. When those fake numbers are tabulated the 'Exit Poll' will show a big Kerry win. They did the same thing to VNS in 2000.
They likely did it to the new companies this time.
The idea was likely to discourage Bush voters in Ohio and Florida from voting. But this time it did not work.
If someone put out fake exit poll reports that purported to be from the real exit polling service, the polling service would have contacted the networks and news services within five minuts of the fake numbers hitting the internet. Yet Fox was still reacting to the bad numbers hours after the first noon time exit poll numbers were released.
If the actuall exit polling company had not been fooled the fake polls would not have lasted over 10 minutes.
You really are a very kind and gentle soul.
That's sad. ((Molly))
Did you read Dick Morris's take on the early "exit polls"? He also thinks there was dirty pool going on, saying that there's no way to do exit polls that come out that bad. Not if you know what you are doing at all.
In our local radio cut-in (St. Louis) on Fox radio, 15 mins ago, they send that Aschroft was rumored to be resigning for health reasons.
I saw that Morris piece.
Havening your pork, 'kraut, gravy recipe.
I should have thought of that...hot dogs here..oh well.
Someone on FNC suggested Bernie Kerik for Attorney General.
"Missouri voters did more than just favor President George W. Bush by a decisive 200,000-vote margin out of just over 2.7 million cast. They also put the Republican Party in charge of the Governor's Mansion, the state House and the state Senate for the first time in 80 years.
The GOP snagged control of two other statewide offices - lieutenant governor and treasurer - and maintained control of both U.S. Senate seats, with the re-election of Sen. Christopher "Kit" Bond."
Tennessee's state senate is now going to have a Republican majority for the first time in over 100 years.
I keep hearing that on the news, but I can't imagine the Republicans were ever in the majority before then. Maybe I need to brush up on my Republican history.
IG, feel better soon. No sense to spend the time your hubby is gone being ill. Did you ever find an Inauguration dress?
NorthernYankee: let them whine. They're still whining here, too. They'll just have to get used to it. Didn't ya know that the only thing RATS are good at doing is whining? ;-)
