I got rid of Becky's physical therapist because she basically charged an arm and a leg Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpost of physical therapy?
Why did Becky have a physical therapist, BTW? I musta forgotten something, which is not at all surprising!

Guys, I am so upset about that Marine the media is dragging through the mud right now...I just feel like I need to DO something! (I wish I could get him a Hobbit Hole knife!) Tell him that I may just be a housewife in Tulsa, but I'm proud of him, that in a bad situation he made the best decision he could. I want to tell him I'm praying for him...Lord knows, this young man is gonna need prayer for a long time because of this dumb reporter.
My understanding is that a booby-trapped terrorist actually took the life of a Marine just prior to this happening...read it somewhere but can't find it now...this Marine, under these conditions, did what he had to do.
God bless him, I'm so upset.

Hi ROSIE...am sipping the coffee myself. We have had FIVE STRAIGHT days of gray skies here on the Tx coast...not a single change in the temperature or humidity or the color of the skies. It is starting to affect my mood, which for the time being means that I feel like the whole world hates me. When is the sun gonna come out???

Becky was born bilaterally club footed. Her feet pointed towards each other and were twisted so bad that if she had stood, she'd be standing on her ankles.
Apparently, she was cramped up in my belly and didn't have the space to stretch out, so her Achilles tendons stayed shortened, thus causing the problem. I was so upset when I first saw it because I thought she had been born crippled. But then she spent 3 months in casts up to her thighs. Poor baby!
Finally, when she was 9 months old, she had surgery to correct it and had to be in casts for another month.
She's perfectly normal now, but whenever she gets tired, her feet turn in and I have to remind her to hold them out straight in front of her.

Dittos on the Marine 2J - what the MSM is blithely and deliberately leaving out is how these guys were still in battle mode. There had not been any truce made between the soldiers and the terrorists. As far as I am concerned, until someone comes out with a white flag declaring cease fire on their end, anything goes. Oliver North was on Hannity and Colmes last night...he expressed shock and concern, which I am guessing is all proper. But dang! my first thoughts were "another terrorist dead? GOOD. Im glad the Marine is alive and not that piece of filth."
Dang it...THIS IS WAR!!!!

I'm getting to hear people spout off about it, too...that and they're angry about Condi Rice getting Powell's position. My gosh...nothing worse than a black conservative woman in some people's eyes, I guess.
I'm biting my tongue so much today it's a wonder it isn't bleeding.
