Why did Becky have a physical therapist, BTW? I musta forgotten something, which is not at all surprising!

Guys, I am so upset about that Marine the media is dragging through the mud right now...I just feel like I need to DO something! (I wish I could get him a Hobbit Hole knife!) Tell him that I may just be a housewife in Tulsa, but I'm proud of him, that in a bad situation he made the best decision he could. I want to tell him I'm praying for him...Lord knows, this young man is gonna need prayer for a long time because of this dumb reporter.
My understanding is that a booby-trapped terrorist actually took the life of a Marine just prior to this happening...read it somewhere but can't find it now...this Marine, under these conditions, did what he had to do.

Becky was born bilaterally club footed. Her feet pointed towards each other and were twisted so bad that if she had stood, she'd be standing on her ankles.
Apparently, she was cramped up in my belly and didn't have the space to stretch out, so her Achilles tendons stayed shortened, thus causing the problem. I was so upset when I first saw it because I thought she had been born crippled. But then she spent 3 months in casts up to her thighs. Poor baby!
Finally, when she was 9 months old, she had surgery to correct it and had to be in casts for another month.
She's perfectly normal now, but whenever she gets tired, her feet turn in and I have to remind her to hold them out straight in front of her.
ROTFL!! Instead of a house boat, it's a house truck!!
Sounds like Nana needs a new Physical Terrorist.
... either that, or the PT needs to offer to let Nana live with her....

I'm getting to hear people spout off about it, too...that and they're angry about Condi Rice getting Powell's position. My gosh...nothing worse than a black conservative woman in some people's eyes, I guess.

Yeah...they say her being picked is because they don't want any dissension at all within the ranks, so Colin Powell had to go. Not that they liked him either, mind you, but...
Yeah, because Condi is a weak woman and has no mind nor opinion of her own, and if she did she'd be afraid to express it.
