Need to go get them. Return on Wednesday, Nov. 3.
VIDEO STORES ACROSS THE COUNTRY ARE JOINING IN THE EFFORT TO MAKE SURE AMERICANS SEE FAHRENHEIT 9/11 BEFORE THE ELECTION
Oscar-winning filmmaker and best-selling author Michael Moore will announce the official kickoff to "Fahrenheit for Free" at a "Slacker Uprising Tour" event in Indiana, PA at 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 26.
Moore is joining forces with over 150 video store operators from across the country in an effort to get as many Americans as possible to see the film before the election. Participating video stores across the country will be waiving the usual rental fee for Fahrenheit 9/11 beginning on October 26.
A recent Harris poll showed that 44 percent of Republicans who have seen the film gave it a positive rating.
"It isn't possible to view this film and come out saying you are voting George W. Bush," stated Moore.
Moore is currently on a 60-city tour to the 20 battleground states to rally non-voters and slackers, America's majority, to give voting a try, just this once. He's offering clean underwear and Ramen noodles to slackers, which has Republicans in his home state of Michigan calling for his arrest.
Moore is appearing on college campuses, arenas, stadiums and field houses. Nearly all venues hold between 5,000 and 15,000 people, with students historically the largest block of non-voters in presidential elections admitted for free at most events.

I just called Block Buster. The girl told me she hadn't heard of this and they are charging.
That's it! I give up. The odds are stacked too high against us. </sarcasm>
ZOT! This idiot.
Can you or someone who could stand to visit michaelmoore.com post the list so if we see a store near us, we can get a bunch of like-minded friends to go borrow them until after the election? Thanks!
I saw it twice. It only strengthened my resolve to vote for the President.
P.S., Mike. I already saw it for free.
why is this? Why are video stores allowing people to rent this trash for free before election day? they endorse socialism?
Well order Farnhype 9-11 and you will weep with the people moore exploited in his movie.
I am sharing my copy with as many people as will take it.
WalMart had FahrenHYPE at $9 yesterday.
Have a viewing raffle. Registered Voters who view this short documentary get a chance to win a _____ (pick your prize).
You can also hand out campaign literature.
I think Moore is living in a timewarp. He thinks he's hanging out with the dudes he probably lusted after in high school who didn't give him the time of day, but now that he's even fatter and grosser, but richer, they might notice him.
i don't buy it (or rent it) -- this story that is.
Well Heck. I'm gonna go and get myself one. My kitchen table is a little wobbly cause one leg is shorter than the other...
For what it's worth, I just looked to see where it's available for "free"... only available in Portland, OR at a few niche stores... no chains... all located in the heart of DULiberal NE Portland. Looks like the "free" viewing will only pick up additional showings at homes where there won't likely be many votes cast anyway. Go MooreOn!
That's it. I give up- the odds are stacked against us </sarcasm>
ZOT this thread, see last sentence.
Any video store stupid enough to go along with this leftist scheme will lose at least half their customer base! (Unless, of course, they're located in a bastion of liberalism like ... [fill in the blank].)
If I were Bruce Willis I would sue their asses off...but that's another matter.
Like it or not we're in the middle of a Social War in America right now. "Shots" have already been fired. (CBS/RATHER/MEMO/UN LETTER AMMO DUMP)
What can the Right do about it?
People in the areas of these lowlife video stores should get together and check out every copy. DVD's are pretty easily ruined. An accidental game of frisbee or use as a hot-pad could only improve their content.
Wee, at least we'll have a tidy list of which video stores to boycott....
&&
Please tell me which ones they are because there is no way I am going to visit the website of that fat piece of clinton.
shouldn't these video stores be forced to register as 527 organizations ?
