My Wife's Japanese and she thinks Bush is the anti-Christ ! My 19 Year old son just registered as a republican had a big argument with her a few days ago because she was saying stupid facts that were way off. She gets these from the Japanese news who report CNN and others in the US?

No, this is no time for celebrating.
We still have to wait out a last minute "October surprise", probably scheduled for Halloween weekend.
We still don't know what the impact of gluts of newly registered voters, thousands of volunteer lawyers, errant judges, etc. will be.
We can't even count on November 3 being the day this whole thing is over with.
If this was 1988, we could count on things turning on way. Post Clinton/Gore, nothing is predictable--and half of it isn't legal!

I see what you're saying. I too prefer to be pessimistic and then to be pleasantly surprised when the opposite happens. That way, I'm not disappointed when the undesirable occurs because I expected it all along.
