looks like Kerry gained some ground in EV votes and in the battlegrounds
I agree he is being as objective as possible, but that page with the 350 - 278 breakdown is based upon some arcane mathematical extrapolations of the poll data over time. It is interesting, but I doubt if it reflects the true dynamics of public opinion.
His homepage shows a map with a breakdown today of 285 - 232 (21 in 2 tied states) using current polls. I would welcome this result any day, especially Nov 2.
I'll pull the lever for Kerry,...Hehh,Hehh,Hehh
Based on current trends which may or may not continue. Nobody can determine the future and how the trends will continue.
sorry at work the most i can do is share with my fellow freepers right now
Your district didn't get its share of the federal money for upgrading the voting machines?
Vanities are such a waste of bandwidth.
sounding a bit like the DU a couple weeks ago ...relax it still looks good ...lets keep the momentum going and not get gloom and doom. thats the job of the dems.
Actually I just got home from doing just that! I was on the georgewbush web site and learned there is a compaign headquarters about a mile from house. I just stopped in to see what I can do to help. One man was there alone at first and he was BUSY!. It was a few minutes after 5pm, in the fifteen minutes I was there two more people just walked in cold to help like I had. And then the volunteers started arriving to start the 5:30 phone calls.
I can't wait to help! The calling looks easy to do, you work off a prepared work sheet. The people were warm and friendly.
It is going to feel much better to be doing, rather then worrying.
Well we live in 2 states but of course can only vote in one, being Republicans! Too bad we can't help on election day in Washington, they need us more than Arizona! We are here now, lots of Kerry signs near Seattle but few out in this rural area we live in, Marysville. In Phoenix I haven't seen as many signs this time for either Bush or Kerry, mostly local candidates. We are going to drive people to the polls on election day and do some calling. It helps to feel involved! And maybe REALLY helps too, even in the "safer" Bush states, like AZ.
I'm in Ohio, so we have work to do here.
to express my shall we say nervousness
look i am originally from the land of Kerry and i cannot stand that man
the thought of a Kerry presidency scares the kaka out of me
how is Ohio looking?
