September 4. 2004 5:03am.........had this dream three times...

I am standing outside, and approximately about 20 feet away from me, I see what looks like a big globe of the world.

As I begin to walk towards it, I am then lifted up far above this globe, and can now look down , and see the whole universe.

As I look far over towards the left, I see a darkening in the sky. In a blink of an eye, it strikes me that it has the resemblance of New York…the stock exchange buildings and business area. I then become aware, that as this situation is occurring, that in other parts of the world, there seem to be simultaneous attacks.

Although, I am not certain, of the exact places these attacks are also occurring, I do notice, that oil refineries, are being blown up, and I notice there seems to be those of Arabic descent as well as what appears to be Iraq, is now once again, under heavy attack, with air attacks, and ground forces, attacking just as they did in the beginning of the war…many lives are lost.

As this takes place, I look to my right, and see more destruction, and terror and death.

As I awoke, I was in tears, and kept hearing "Oct will be a significant month, Winds Of Change…Watch and Pray"

I've had 2 such experiences:

1. a few years before 9/11 I had a dream that i was looking at manhattan from overhead as flames and destroyed buildings were collapsing. one of my [siblings] lives in nyc and i found the dream so disturbing i mentioned it to my mother because all during the dream i kept wondering where my [sibling] was in all this destruction.

2. i moved to [the NW] right before [a major terror attack]. shortly after moving here, i had a dream about looking thru a large window at a white mountain that was erupting. i was far enough way to watch it, but i had a clear view and just stood there entranced.

i thought it was the window of my new apartment, but i can't see Rainier from home and the window, tho large, isn't as large as the one in my dream.

last may i started working in another building. i walk thru a big open space to get to my office. one day, just about a month ago, it just struck me that it was those windows, very very large expanses of glass, that i had seen in my dreams. it also occurred to me that i have an unobstructed view of rainier both from this open space and from my office. too weird.

i have had dreams that show me the interior of places i've never been in, and when i go in them they are just like my dream. i also can think of a person and they will show up - even people i haven't seen in years. i don't think i'm summoning them, i think it's more like i sense their presence somehow. i can often tell who's calling on the phone as well.

I had a dream last night.

I dreamed that all whom God calls will come to Him.

I dreamed the saints on earth built a nation of grateful, prosperous and righteous citizens who were aware of their many blessings, and who worked always to protect them.

I dreamed the bounty that God gave America grew from towns to cities to states and then across borders into all the countries of the world.

I dreamed Africa was cleansed of its terrible afflictions and all its children grew up strong and happy into old age.

I dreamed the Jews were safe in Jerusalem, and the sound of bombs and broken glass was forever silenced.

I dreamed the Giant Bear of Russia grew into a Free Republic of liberty-loving peoples whose children also were permitted to grow up without bombs exploding in basketball hoops above their heads.

I dreamed that men and women the world over fell to their knees in worship of Jesus Christ.

I dreamed Scripture told us that the Holy Spirit will guide us to seek out the righteous things in this world and pass them on to others in order that we may increase the goodness of the Earth as a reflection of His glory.

Then I woke up and read Scripture and was blessed by the realization that it wasn't a dream after all; that life is unfolding exactly as He ordained from before the foundation of the world. All things for His glory. All saints under the shadows of His wings.

When God Invades His Church

Before I share what occurred, let me first point out that there is a biblical precedent of God invading His people. The Jewish leaders of the early Church were sure everything was on target, until God initiated a series of dramatic and supernatural events in Acts chapters ten and eleven. God quickly shattered Peter's religious pride.



Our Church SHAKEN



The Lord did something similar to our church family and me. You could have described us as a typical, non-denominational, evangelical church. We were characterized by contemporary worship music, verse-by-verse expositional preaching, a sensitivity to the non- Christian, and concern with equipping the saints. We had a noted children's ministry, and a vibrant young adult church, which was growing and gaining the attention of the community. Our church would have been described as a safe place, as we grew from 170 to 1500-1700 in attendance in seven years. We were even in the middle of a building program to relieve our cramped conditions. But God had plans of His own.



As mentioned earlier, like Peter on the rooftop, God invaded us in January of 2000. Within 120 days we experienced several people who had dramatic demonic manifestations, physical healings taking place, and prophetic words and dreams being released. And to truly take us over the edge, my wife experienced two angelic visitations to explain what was transpiring and what was going to transpire. I can't imagine Peter being more traumatized than I was, and over time many in our church became offended as to what was taking place (including myself at times).



Things did not subside after those first 120 days, in fact, they continue even today in a very notable fashion. Hundreds have received physical healing, hundreds have received freedom from captivity by powers of darkness, and hundreds have received eternal life through Jesus Christ. Many of the healings have included terminal diseases, and even recovery from a death-coma.



The Lord taught us many memorable truths through some very painful lessons. Due to uncertainty, discomfort, and fear, eighty percent of the people that were with us in January 2000 are no longer a part of our church. Our building project came to a screeching halt while excavation had already started. We had been respected in the community of churches surrounding us as a solid and progressive evangelical church; now all manner of stories were circulating and our reputation had become tarnished because of the unconventional ministry that was taking place. Very hurtful things were stated and expressed toward our leadership and church body.



About REFORMATION



One of the lessons we learned in all of this was that the Lord is still reforming His Church. Much has been restored in the Church since the scriptures began to be recovered in the late 1300's to the mid 1500's. Of course Martin Luther was used to recover the essence of salvation by grace, through faith alone in Jesus Christ, in the 16th century. The reformation continued in different dimensions of the Church for the next several centuries. But there is still reformation work to be done in the Church at large.



In the midst of this dramatic upheaval, when I was in a particular state of offense at what God was doing in our church, He asked me a series of questions:



* "What is My design for the Church?"

* "Are you faithful to the commission I gave My Church, or had you succumbed to conventional expectations of man?"

* "What is different about what I am doing in your church than what happened while I ministered on earth?"

* "Were there not physical healings?"

* "Did I not hear directly from My Father as to what He was going to do and what He wanted Me to do and say?"

* "Were there not demonic manifestations no matter where I ministered, whether in the Synagogue or out in the streets and fields?"

* "And did I not demonstrate authority over all powers of darkness and powerfully release those who had been captives?"

* "Was not all of this part of people coming into My kingdom?"

* "Was not all of this part of Me training and teaching My disciples how to do My ministry?"

* "Were not My disciples commissioned to carry out the very ministry My Father sent Me into the world to perform?"

* "Did I not say that My disciples would do the very works I have done and even greater?"

* "Did I not pray for My disciples regarding this work and not only them but for all who would ever believe in Me because of their testimony?"



Waking up to JESUS' MINISTRY



We soon realized there was nothing happening in our church that was not spoken to and demonstrated directly in the Scriptures. God simply woke us up. We needed a good shaking, though! We began to read the Scriptures in a fresh way, all while having our paradigm and practice of "church" change dramatically.



During this season we learned a central message. The Lord emphasized what characterized the ministry or what we like to call "Jesus-ministry." Luke 4:18-19 summarizes it as proclaiming the gospel, releasing captives, giving sight to the blind, freeing the oppressed, and proclaiming this is the age of God's grace.



Jesus' design for His Church - all of us who possess God's Spirit and are followers of Jesus Christ - is that we continue the very ministry He initiated on earth. My ministry and our church were falling short in the assignment the Lord had given us, and we were anemic in the demonstration of His power in our midst. The Church of Jesus Christ, like our church, needs to recover the foundation of God's Word with the demonstration of His power, so that people's lives are radically transformed. This is the mission of the Church. This is what Jesus commissioned us to do! We need a full return to ancient truths and power in present-day wineskins. We need more than mere programs or routine, for the Church desperately needs a revolution unto reformation.

A Dream of New York

Preface: The first dream or word I ever received from the Lord was in 1986 when I was but a babe in Christ. This dream concerned New York City and a coming day when it would be overrun by enemy forces.

I have held onto this dream for all these years, primarily because it seemed out of place for so long, but in the last couple of years I did not feel permission from the Holy Spirit to release this dream even though the dream was confirmed in my spirit. Only last week (08/2004) did the Lord tell me to release it.

I believe some dreams or words from the Lord are conditional and some are absolute judgments. By releasing this dream, I believe these future events have passed from conditional to judgment.


I was standing in a street with many tall buildings around and chaos was breaking out everywhere. People were frantically running to and fro trying to get away from something but knowing not where to go or where any safety was.

I stepped into a hospital and as I was looking around the lobby, I then saw what was causing the great terror and commotion. Busting through the glass doors from the outside were soldiers shooting every person in sight, having no pity or concern for civilians. Nurses were being slaughtered before my very eyes. The soldiers had desert fatigues on with brown skin, thick mustaches and black hair.

I ran out of the hospital and through several back alleys and across several blocks towards a bridge. As I ran people were being cut down everywhere, these soldiers had spilled in all over the place and were shooting everyone they could.

I made it up on top of a bridge and there were a few US military personnel on the bridge with an artillery piece, but they were totally out of communication with anyone else and completely at a loss as to what to do. I told one of the soldiers to point the piece at a certain block in the distance because many of the enemy soldiers were concentrated there. They turned their artillery piece in that direction and begin firing.

As I was on the bridge, I could see the skyline of the city and then knew it to be New York. I was compelled to gaze long and hard at the skyline for some reason, even though I had quickly determined what city it was. For the longest time I looked slowly from one end to other, taking in all the scenery I could remember. Then I woke up.


Having never received a recognized word or dream from the Lord before that day, I must say I was quite excited when I woke up (not gleefully excited, but a bit on the frantic side, for it seemed so utterly real and shocking). Later that day, I felt compelled to jot some of the events down and felt in my heart I should draw the skyline out to be sure of what city it was (I had never before had the slightest inclination to remember or record a dream).

I took some large art paper and drew everything I could remember of the skyline.... bridges, significant buildings etc. When I was done I was once again certain it was New York, except one thing, there were no Twin Towers. Because of this omission, I hastily put the dream away on a mental shelf (so to speak) and gave it little consideration for many years.

With the Twin Towers absent how could this dream be accurate or anything important I reasoned to myself at the time.

Certainly after the tragic 9/11 events this dream became prominent in my spirit. I now find it ironic that the very thing that caused me to put away this dream turned out to be the most compelling confirmation.

And last week I heard the Lord tell me to release it. We must not think that any of our cities or lands are immune to hostility, even a plundering by enemy forces. Recently, Michael Bloomberg, the Mayor of New York, boasted that, 'New York will never be defeated!'.

This arrogant proclamation makes me shudder. Was nothing learned from 9/11? We all know the scripture... "Pride cometh before the fall". The day and the hour is in the hands of the Father. I pray New York will clothe itself with humility before the day comes.


Giant Liberty


08/2004 I dreamed I saw New York City and in the place where the Twin Towers once stood the Statue of Liberty now stood. However, the statue was about 10 times larger than any building in the city and it dwarfed the skyline.

Meaning: A bloated, perverse form of 'Liberty' is the greatest idol of New York (and much of America). American Liberty, that is, the desire to do what I want, when I want, as oft I want has become the great idol of idols.

True Godly liberty is freedom from iniquity and freedom to rest in the Lord at his feet. This dream is in connection with a dream I had in 02/1991 where I saw the Statue of Liberty fallen from its pedestal and laying on its back in the ocean. While I watched it a song was being sung over it with only these words being repeated..."The god of America..." and it was sung to the tune of "God bless America".

Certainly REBELLION has been hyped by the enemy of our souls and the mass media and universities influenced by Godless Communism and Globalism

FREEDOM and the "right" to do whatever feels good 'as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else' --their being wholesale oblivious to the devastations to millions that the fracturing of society's foundations metes out to hurting families and individuals.

Qx: I believe at least much of what this dream and her commentary say. I also feel however, that we MUST NOT become complacent by such--that OUR PRAYERS ARE CRUCIAL to Bush's effectiveness AND to his safety.

Dream About George Bush

I had a dream about sitting at a table with George W. Bush and a whole group of other people. Somehow everyone there had a zip lock bag full of medications to show him. All they could talk about was their health condition and the medications they had to take. He listened intently, nodding his head, but then he turned to me. I had no zip lock bag nor any medications. I said, "I don't take any of that stuff, nor do I need it." He had a most tender look on his face, and he reached out his left hand to take my right. (I was sitting immediately to his left). He held my hand for the rest of the meeting.

I got up to do something and they were all pouring red wine. When it came to where I was sitting I held up my hand and said no thank you. Again he looked at me with tenderness and smiled.

The whole thing seemed to be focused on the control the medical/health care industry has on people. part of it is an evil spirit controlling America's dependency on medications. Also the pills in ziplock bags are showing that people are taking things to "mask" symptoms...i.e. cover up their SIN. They were showing him all these things and of course their concern was the COST of it. Covering up sin IS EXPENSIVE. We are essentially an UNREPENTANT nation. We are very RELIGIOUS, with our many pretty church houses and huge congregations and mega ministry corporations, but we are still basically unrepentant.

We have pills, pills, but the LORD is saying how many different forms of medication there are. When we think of medication, we also have that going on in so many churches. They are being soothed in their spirits by entertainment that takes the place of true worship. That's about all they are getting for their tithes: religious medication. Entertainment is just medication. "Easy grace" is just medication. It is like David playing for Saul to soothe the violence in his heart. We have over eating, we have addiction to TV, addiction to sex, addiction to gambling, any kind of "escape" that we can take on to cover up the misery we have lived in in our sin. Bush KNOWS the difference between the true SPIRIT of God and the spirit of the world. His "job" dictates that he has to listen intently to all the carnality of the world. But when the spirit of God speaks, He attends to it with profound love and agreement.

However, God has a praying remnant. Our prayers will help Bush. The golden censers have prayers stored in them that have seen his need. The golden censor holds prayers for these times. Bush's administration will be more overshadowed than any others have ever been.

God did this with me during his first election. That is where I went in spirit to the inaugural place and saw an assassin in a window with a high powered rifle...set to kill him. I re arranged the whole room and told them someone was over there. A plot to kill him either politically OR in reality was stopped at that time. THEN we saw the mess that last election was with all the controversy about votes . The Lord then gave the word that Bush IS His man for this season. That He would give a prophetic mantle and Bush would do a "Josiah" work in America, causing a massive turning to the Word of God for our guidance rather than evil laws. Wicked men will hate him and his life is in constant danger. (I have had several "assassination" dreams of powerful intercession.)

He is going to more covered than ever. God has a plan for America. Regardless of the evil in government, Bush has been raised up for such a time as this. And this is the term where that will come to the forefront!!! Regardless of things in the man, George Bush, that we might not agree with or things about the nature of his political position, God has placed him in office for such a time as this, and he will carry out what God has for him to do. We are commanded to pray for him and the office of authority that he holds. Amen and Amen.

Qx: Am still pondering this one. But much of it bears a witness in my spirit. My hesitation is not that such won't occur.

I am just not clear whether it will be amidst traumas aplenty or just prior to traumas aplenty. It sounds totally rosey and for the heart-felt, earnest, overcoming believer with his eyes fixed on Jesus--I can believe that the gaze fixed firmly on THE ROSE OF SHARON will find all things suitably rosey in that context and RELATIONSHIP. Do not believe that in the natural, things will be only or even mostly rosey as history as we know it winds down.

Prophetic words for the 6 Continents of the World

August 4, 2004

South America

The fiery blaze of the Holy Spirit will intensify. There will be a large ongoing influx of new believers in regions of this continent. Signs and wonders, specifically healings of great magnitudes, will begin to happen. Intercessors will be crying out for their land and will bring the wave of salvations and healings into this continent.

There will be a title wave of God’s presence that will overtake the church. A rapid growth of churches will emerge bringing hope to the peoples of this region. I see in the spirit stadiums being full with high praises of God being lifted up. Evangelistic crusades will fill the stadiums and outdoor arenas compelling people to come to Jesus. Joy will replace sorrow and hope will replace the hopelessness that has devastated many places. Revival fires are burning bright!

Africa

There is a call coming forth from the heart of God for leadership training upon the church. This will result in a mass harvest and an overtaking of this continent bringing them to the heart of God. Rapid church multiplication will boomerang in this continent within the next 2 years.

Healing crusades and the evangelistic call will overtake this continent. We will see the raising of the dead, signs and wonders and increased Holy Spirit baptisms in unparalleled numbers. Increased ministry to the poor will emerge and be in full swing with anointing upon it in the days ahead.

Rivers of revival will pour forth in the land and Africa will once again see the fruit of their land increase both spiritually and physically in the coming years. The heart of Africa will pulse with the heartbeat of God and a fragrant offering will be lifted up from this continent.

Asia

The glory of God will be seen and heard in this land in the days ahead. The cry of intercession that has wailed forth in the hearts of believers will have great effect in the days ahead. Pockets of revival will spring up upon every region of this continent.

Extraordinary healings and an outpouring of love will flood the land. The house church will explode within the next 3 years and leaders will be sent forth from this territory into all continents of the world. Idolatry worship will crumble day by day and the tangible presence of the Lord will be felt.

Australia

The walls of resistance will crumble and the power of God will storm this country. Church after Church will emerge and the blaze of the Spirit will overtake the land. Missionaries, evangelists, and the full 5-fold ministry will overtake this land. They will be emerging and will trailblaze paths of righteousness with great strength in the spirit.

The beauty of the land will only intensify as the beauty of the Lord increases. Families will be united and children will be preaching the good news of the gospel. The Lord will use the children of this continent to lay hands on the sick and speak deliverance to the captives. Great teachers will arise forth and proclaim the principles and proclamations of the Holy Spirit. Many will feel the waters of renewal and revival sweep across the land.

Europe

Holy Spirit fire will increase. City walls will fall down and be replaced with walls of love, peace, hope and encouragement. Ancient unbiblical ways will give way to Jesus, the way, the truth and the life. Faces of sadness will turn into faces of joy. Heaviness will turn into holiness. Signs and wonders will increase in great proportions. We will see a great cloud of glory cover the regions of this continent.

Where there has been doubt, hopelessness and defeat, we will see encouragement, happiness, and delight. Children will cry out for their cities and see immediate results. The elderly will see great hope before death. Translations and transformations will be common. The heavenly realm will be a normal happening in the lives of the believers.

There will be ‘hotspots’ of dead bodies being raised that will change cities. Worship will increase and new songs for the church will emerge forth. Prophetic dance will be increasing and the love for the world will be seen in new ways. Teens will be filled with happiness and hope. Sorrow will vanish.

I see in the spirit a youth revival emerging that will set the pace for this entire continent. The church will forge ahead fast and make an indelible impression on the world. Prophets will arise and Holy Spirit infillings will blaze a fiery path in the regions of Europe. Come Holy Spirit!

North America

America will be arising to a new place of influence in the days ahead. There will be a huge outbreak of youth revival that the churches will not be able to hold them all. There will be an emerging forth of radically changed youth that will lead the way to repentance and renewal in the days ahead.

Stadium's nationwide will be filled with believers lifting up holy and righteous praise to the King of kings and Lord of lords. Revival will break forth in the children of America and there will be signs and wonders in the body of Christ with great waves of influence.

There will be a title wave of the Spirit that breaks upon the states of our nation. We will see peoples of all ages come forth with new vigor for the sake of the master. The Lord will be giving new wineskins and will flow new wine in the church.

Paradigms will shift from the conventional way of church to Holy Spirit led book of Acts church. Holy Spirit gatherings of believers will break forth in every city of America and it will be for the building of relationships in the body of Christ.

The church will experience a new wave of finances to fund the work of the Lord world wide thought the Market place Apostles. The five fold ministry will be in full swing and the "Day of the Saints" will be arising with greater power than they have every seen.

There will be a Rapid multiplication of House Churches and continued networks of this will be forming on a monthly basis. The Lord is shaking the church into place and we will see the body of Christ arising to a new level of life and relationship.

We will see the believers taken to the "Heavenly Realms" and be given the view of the Father from Heavens vantage point. Proclamations and Declarations will be spoken with authority and we will see the earth full of the glory of God.

FOR ALL BELIEVERS WORLDWIDE...

I haven't had any dreams, but I do feel that something really strange and evil is going on in this country. I think already life as we knew it is gone, perhaps never to return again. There is something going on behind the scenes that perhaps only some of us realize?

In an earlier post I talked about the baptism of the Holy Spirit as presented in scripture. Basically, it only happened twice in scripture, the first time was an indication of the salvation of God coming down to man. The second was to indicate that salvation was available to the Gentiles.

Simon "saw that it was by laying on of the apostles hand that the gifts were given", NOT by "laying on of the apostles hands AND the baptism of the Spirit". Those two occasions of "Holy Spirit baptism" were special events and are not demonstrated by scripture to be normative.

MUCH. And if we knew the half of it, we would all be panicked - and there would chaos. That's why we need strong and decent leaders like George Walker Bush who, knowing from the get go what terrible things he would have to face and act upon, took up the gauntlet for us.
Can you imagine even a tiny iota of what this man has and is going through?
We need to send cards of love and appreciation, send telegrams TODAY, let this man know we recognize the sacrifice he is making, let him know that we are with him, let him know that he is not out there in the midst of such evil alone.
He needs to know we are with him!

Scripture is pretty clear that God's people are to not give much weight to dreams, except maybe like in Joseph and Daniel's cases, where the Lord interpreted dreams through his prophets.

Scripture also shows that true prophets of the Lord have visions, not dreams, but these visions are given in order to edify the church, not scare the masses silly. We don't need no stinking visions of the end of the world. The world was overcome when Jesus was resurrected. We need to just keep our shoulder to the plow, do our work and carry on, even as it happens. There is one Ark, and we should spent our last days and last breath, telling the cattle to get in.
