In an earlier post I talked about the baptism of the Holy Spirit as presented in scripture. Basically, it only happened twice in scripture, the first time was an indication of the salvation of God coming down to man. The second was to indicate that salvation was available to the Gentiles.
Simon "saw that it was by laying on of the apostles hand that the gifts were given", NOT by "laying on of the apostles hands AND the baptism of the Spirit". Those two occasions of "Holy Spirit baptism" were special events and are not demonstrated by scripture to be normative.

The SCRIPTURAL STANDARD, as Billy Graham has articulated well,
is to be
FILLED AND REFILLED DAILY.
PLEASE TAKE THIS ISSUE TO ANOTHER THREAD.

I have a question, I have never had hands laid on me. I am a believing and practicing Christan.
So what is inside of me? I feel like I have the Holy Spirit although I don't go around doing miracles or such. Are you saying unless I have hands laid on me I am less of a Christian and have no power in the WORD of GOD? In Acts 1:8 is Jesus not saying the we will recieve power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you now later in Acts2: 4 the Holy Spirit comes in fire right?
